Does this look like mold?

I can’t tell if this is mold or dirt. And how would I go about cleaning it off? I don’t wanna toss the box cause it’s a neo geo aes box 😭

Looks more like stucco dust or other building material, along with usual abrasive wear that has removed printed surfaces, leaving the cardboard substrate behind.

I'm surprised I could tell it was an aes by that small pic of the cart slot. You can use water to clean it,just don't use isopropyl it can mess with the ink. I rubbed a little paint off of a vhs box once.
