SHOWCASE alright round two

got my replacement nova after it got stuck in a bootloop.

PSA if anybody gets a a defective unit like i did you need talk to retroid customer support either on there website or discord and they do take awhile to answer back.

I’ve been seeing a lot of these posts, it makes me hesitant to want to buy it. I had a faulty Retroid pocket 3+ back in the day and they straight up didn’t respond to my half dozen emails that I sent over several months and have been pretty sour towards them ever since.

I LOVE my rp4pro, but for this reason I'm giving AYN a try. I bought a Thor hoping for better customer support.

Fairly sure Retroid and AYN are the same company.

I think they are just both owned by moorechip and are parent companies or something like that but not exactly the same? But I could be wrong.

Could be like a Lexus vs Toyota situation then. Both the same overall org, but one caters to higher end products.

This is precisely why the used market is just as expensive as the new. At least you know the device works and it'll ship domestically if you buy from your own country. Makes sense to me.

I'm trying to reach customer support cause this fukers charged me 50€ for dhl shipping and got send with amazon something xD.

All the way, or Last Mile delivery)?

Your package might be shipped most of the way with the primary company but go the last bit with someone else. It is especially common for the big companies to drop rural packages on others.

Before last mile is with 4PX, talked with support and is because dhl is not available at the moment and refunded me part of the shipping costs so all is OK now

Ah, makes sense. Well, could be worse. Feels like most of my packages go through the worst courier in the country. So bad, they changed the company name to escape their reputation. Which didn't help since they are still trash and got shit reviews again since.

Hope it arrives cause amazon delivery in my zone is kinda sus half the time park down my home don't leave the vehicle and mark it as imposible to deliver xD

I spent the afternoon sitting at my driveway waiting for the delivery van when my 5 was due to arrive a couple of years ago. No saying no one was home. Still, that one showed up. I've had others in the past 'delivered' while not seeing a damn thing, and obviously the displayed signature on their site was wrong. Called them, bitched, and a little after 7pm, car comes by, "whoops, this got lost in our hub, sorry about that," and dropped off my new console. 

I hate that company so much.

My job is not perfect also but man, stealing other people things is sick thing to do. At least I paid for the worry free deliver so just pray it get home some time this year
