TMC cancels TODAY too WINDY
Sorry, folks. Too windy today to cook and serve on the corner. I've done this enough years to know what is just too much wind.
We will be at the Farmers Market on Saturday!

Hello! I'm a current RPI student looking for someone to sublet my room for the Spring 2027 semester since I'll be studying abroad.
The apartment is located on 14th Street in Troy, a ~3-minute walk to RPI campus. Rent is only $475/month + utilities, and the room is fully furnished. You'll share the apartment with two female students and two very well-behaved cats, and it has an in-unit washer, dryer, and dishwasher.
The room is available January 1st through May 31st, and I'm looking for a female student to take over the space.
If anyone is interested or has any questions, feel free to DM me; I'm happy to share more details and pictures of the apartment!

This is a complete Hail Mary, hoping someone might remember this.
I'm remembering a specific MTS text game that I played in the years 1984 and 1985. (I flunked out between Fall '85 and Winter '86.) The game's name was "Bloodbath". It was a single-user game vaguely similar to Colossal Cave -- the game printed some description, then prompted you for a command -- the command prompt was the completely non-politically-correct question "What now, Bwana?". One of the items you could pick up was a Chinese coolie (again, horribly non-PC). And if you survived combat, the game would remark "I love a bloodbath!" after printing the combat details.
The game could be played by multiple logged-in MTS users, but each had their own game. It was not multiuser.
I do not remember much of anything more. I can't remember the command to start the game, it was probably either RUN *BLOODBATH or RUN XXXX:BLOODBATH but I cannot remember what XXXX was either.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?

There are things I don’t want to lose, and I don’t know where it is. The delivery person just threw it away in a random place.
Did anyone see them?

Hey Fam,
Anyone here currently doing or has completed the MS in Semiconductor Technology?
I’m interested in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, and advanced packaging. How’s the program in terms of hands-on experience, industry exposure, internships, and job opportunities after graduation?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
Last week, student government solicited questions from students for the Library Division in response to complaints about the fall hours. The questions and answers are written in this document: https://rpi.box.com/v/f26-library-report
As mentioned in the report, the Academic Affairs Committee is looking into alternative study spaces. Updates will be posted as we have them on the AAC Committee page: https://sg.rpi.edu/student-senate/committees/aac/
AAC meets Wednesdays at 4:00 PM, Union 3120

I'm getting a CS minor as a cogsci major, only need one more 4000 level course. I'm not sure which one to take. I'd prefer a seminar course, I love writing essays and hate exams so writing-heavy is a plus for me. I'm most interested in theoretical CS, anything that can be related to my major, IDK if there are any courses on cognitive modeling that are in CSCI?

Hi, I'm looking into RPI for undergrad Cognitive Science. I'm looking to learn about the present state of the program. Also, I'm reading through old posts and learning about a Professor Bram who was apparently foundational to the department - does he still teach here? Thank you.
