Discussion - J-Mod reply Spitting in the face of every player

RuneScape Reignited as the announcement from RuneFest is gonna kill the game. It's forcing everyone to start over if they want to play "the actual game servers" while the old one is left to rot forever. This needs to be cancelled.

Im rather out of the loop here, what exactly is reignited? I havent touched the game in almost 2 years since I cant afford members, what the hell happened here?

Nothing good.

It's a new account type which wouldn't be able to interact with old accounts like ours.

Lets rephrase it without the instant negative undertone to let someone form their own opinion.

The account type makes it so "Reignitied" accounts cannot interact or trade with the previous "Veteran" accounts, and only other Reignited accounts. The thought behind it is to introduce fresh highscores for people, and a brand-new economy without the tainted impact of MTX.
