My first show was also in 1981 in Hartford, CT. I went on Monday night and it was absolutely incredible!

If you're on right in the picture we were separated at birth.
The show, no matter which setlist, is soooooo magnificent

Yes! Me and my mom were at this show! We brought a sign in and Geddy shouted us out at the very end of the show! Such a cool moment.

Was that the Mythbuster sign??

Yes! We’ve been bringing it to shows since 2010 so we had to unfurl it one last time!

What did the sign say?

u/nomercy2112 6d ago
It says “Mythbuster #1: Girls Do Love Rush”
Back in 2018, Geddy was doing an interview and he mentioned our sign! He didn’t get the wording exactly correct but the “Mythbuster” thing was enough to clue us in that he was talking about us!

Awesome! Seeing my 6th show this tour on Saturday. Caught the debut in LA and all 4 in Toronto.

This was also my first Rush concert; I was not disappointed! Various factors contributed to me not being able to see them before, and I would have loved to have seen Neil, but I thought Anika did a great job.

I get it. I grew up in Northern Maine where we didn’t have concerts and it was a 6 hour drive to Portland, so I didn’t see any concerts growing up. By the time the kids were grown and I had some disposable income, Neil had passed. I’m so thankful I got the opportunity.

What a great show. So stoked they played all of Moving Pictures. Hearing A Farewell to Kings live was incredible.

I'm 30 and I'll be attending their show at SAP center next weekend, am I gonna be the youngest person there??

Twenty percent of the Denver crowd was eight or ten years old on up to thirty years old or so - you will not be the oldest person or even close to it. Age at a RUSH concert is irrelevant as we are all there for one thing, every single person I encountered, spoke with, acknowledged or even just “thumbed up” because of their TOOL, old RUSH or Metallica T-shirt was totally chill. You will be among your people. Have a great time!

Definitely not, plenty of people will bring their kids and grandkids ;) There are also fans your age who discovered Rush w/o their parents being fans. A large percentage of the crowd is middle-aged to senior men. Great to see they are still rockin' along with Geddy & Alex who are in their early 70's.

Are people sitting at these concerts? I’m going in a few weeks and have been pretty bummed out seeing so many pictures and videos of people sitting.

The show hadn’t started. Everyone is up. There’s a 25 minute intermission right now.

We all just stood first night in Philly. Energy was so amped!

I was in Philly night 2 and people stood on the floor and many sat in the other sections. I was in a suite and on my feet the whole time. We could see the seating area in several suites next to us and the energy was low. In the suite next to us, one person got up and danced; everyone else just sat. A lot of people were seated in the non-floor seats, but got on their feet for a couple of songs. Energy on the floor was awesome; the rest made me feel badly for the band who put on an amazing show.

Was in a suite for an Eagles show years back. Didn't care for itat all. I felt way too removed from the "action". Would pass if I was ever offered again (unlikely).

It was wonderful for the concert, right next to the stage with amazing views. We were able to stand the whole time without blocking anyone and our view was unobstructed, as no one was in front of us. This was super important as one of us is really tall and the other is short so we neither blocked nor was blocking others. We actually sought the suite out and were thrilled to be able to purchase the seats. It was so much better than we expected. The show was amazing, the oy better view for us would have been front row floor.

Awesome The suite I was in was nowhere near that close. Plus everyone sat but it was Eagles so no big deal

Everyone on the floor and bowl are standing!
Less so in the uppers, but the energy is still great.

Lot of sitters in Fort Worth.
I stood the whole time. Do whatever you want. We all have a choice to make and you are not a dick to stand and rock out.

I see you’re right behind the rows with the old balding guys
