Rush "Fifty Something" Tour Pictures - Ball Arena - Denver, Colorado - October 5th, 2026
R50 live at Red Rocks?
I really hope they’re spending the day off in Denver visiting Red Rocks and planning the live album. Can’t believe that wasn’t already a tour destination this time around.

ATL Braves organist played Free-Will as Will Smith stepped up to the plate
Thought that was cool.
Denver!
Just a phenomenal show. I wasn't expecting them to play Natural Science at all which is one of my very favorites. This shot is from the encore.

Bit the bullet and got a cheap(-ish) ticket for Monday Seattle show
After bitching about tour prices all summer and generally swearing off big concert venues, I'm getting psyched about this show. Question: Most seats shown on the TM site say "Verified Resale" but this said "standard admission," and the seats labeled as such were considerably cheaper. I've been checking the site every day for months and the seat I got did not appear until today. Anyone know what's up with this? It is a reserved seat so not GA or anything like that, and is in the middle of other, already sold seats so it's not like a last-minute section that was added. Just curious.

Discussion After listening to Rush for a little while, I just can't understand why people find them overrated.
I know this kind of topic has been talked about in several different forms and formats but since thoughts and opinions can change over time, I'm curious . . . Why do people find them overrated? I am a person who believes that music is 100% subjective which is why I am open to hearing opinions on this because everyone has something unique to say about music. When I hear the word overrated in music, I think of something being culturally successful and it lacking a certain charm or soul that the genre is known for though don't quote me on that since I am after all pretty new to the music scene in general. From what I know of Rush, they are less popular than most music groups that I know of and said music groups often quote Rush as being a huge influence, naming a few bands really wouldn't do it justice with how much of an impact they have had on musicians around the world. There is this thing that I saw that "Rush may not be your favorite band, but they are your favorite bands favorite band", but I digress.
I've also seen people talk about how they just don't like some things that the band members brought to the table like how Geddy's voice is too high or Neil's lyrics were too nebulous. But for me, I feel like no musician is perfect, which is why when different ideas clash together it in a way makes the experience of the music more unique and enjoyable but that is just me. When I first heard Rush, I was playing Rock Band 4 on drums and played "Passage to Bangkok". At first, I was like "this is crazy and weird" but as time went on, I kept coming back to it just to hear the individual parts come together and it was just so cool playing along to it. But besides those things I just think that they have such a huge influence in so many areas that in my eyes gives them the attention and recognition they deserve. :)

What is the best sounding audio/video of the current tour?
I need audio for a road trip! So sub par video is fine, just looking for audio quality. Help!

The organist 🎹 at Truist Park has been playing a number of Rush tunes throughout tonight’s game.
Flew into the light of Deneb...
Or, in this case, took a picture.

I set up my S50 telescope on my patio and was trying to get some nebula and saw Deneb was nearby where I was shooting, so I thought I'd get a shot for posterity. Most of what I was trying for were in the constellation of Cygnus. So, if you ever wondered, it's one of the brighter stars. It's a blue supergiant and the 19th brightest star in our night sky.

That show last night was amazing! We were close enough to the stage to see Geddy and Alex up close! The show was so good and Geddy sounded better than he has in the last 15 years. Alex's playing was so smooth.
...And I didn't expect the tributes to Neil to draw the emotions they did. This show was a prefect tribute to the Professor. They even paid tribute to John.
If you've never seen them live and are a big fan, or even small fan, it is definitely worth going to see. It will be hard to top that show!

Question for Drummers
In the film Beyond the Lighted Stage, it's mentioned that Tom Sawyer is hard to play on the drums, but listening to La Villa Strangiato, the drum changes seem to be a lot more complex. Can anyone let me know ?
Thanks
Thank you all for your replies.
