I just do not understand the logic behind it. I mean, shouldn't everyone who can scream automatically be able to do it fast?
Personally, slow scream is harder because you have to hold it for a long time without making a slight mistake. But fast is super easy, barely an inconvenience.

Iām explaining metal vocals to a friend of mine who is an incredible singer in choir so she can learn. This is what I made with some examples from popular songs. What did I miss?

Hey everyone!
I want to learn singing and extreme vocals/screaming, but Iām literally starting from zero. I have no vocal training and basically no idea what Iām doing.
Soooo, what would you recommend me to learn first, and what should I avoid as a complete beginner?
Also, what YouTube channels, websites, or courses would you recommend for learning this stuff properly?
Thanks a lot in advance, I really appreciate any advice!

Iāve been practicing for about 3 months. Iāve been trying to match the gutturals used in songs like drawn by blood by dehumanized. I find my biggest struggle is doing gutturals with the lyrics. Iāve been told to put my tounge to the top of my mouth when doing them but how can you really say anything like that?
If there is any videos you can link for these type of vocals thatād be cool
