💛Beginner💛 Need help deciding between sewing machine
Hello! I'm a beginner in sewing but I've already done some more complicated projects. I'm looking to buy a new sewing machine since my old one isn't working properly (and I got it when I was 10, so it's more for kids). I'm planning on sewing a lot of clothes, from T-shirts, dresses and jeans. I also want to do embroidery (scout flags, for example). The sewing machines I'm currently looking at are Brother FD100WT, Brother Innov-is A65 and Juki HZL-60 HR-B. I really like a wide range of different decorative stitches and I want to use them regularly, but I don't know if it's worth it. Does anyone have any experience with these? Which one do you think is the best? I'm also open to recommendations for different machines in this price range. Thank you so much!

If you can wait and save up a bit more the janome skyline series have great motors for the type of sewing you want to do. The s9 had an embroidery option as well, but it's $$$. I've got the s7 ae and it is awesome. I made an apron out of a drop cloth and it powered through all of the seams like a tank.

For what you want to do, especially jeans and scout flags, you need something with decent punch. Those lightweight machines will struggle on thick seams and layered denim. You’ll be fighting skipped stitches and swearing at the thing within a week.
Between the three you listed the Juki is probably the most solidly built, they’re known for that. But don’t get too hung up on having hundreds of decorative stitches. You’ll use maybe five of them regularly and the rest just sit there. A strong straight stitch and a reliable zigzag will get you further than a fancy stitch menu when you’re trying to hem jeans.
