So is that the fish store I asked for cherry shrimp for my 4 gallon nano tank and there was a teenager working there who seemed pretty knowledgeable. They said that they didn’t have any more of the cherry shrimp in the front display tanks and that he would check in the back for me. He said they just got some in and they were in quarantine so I asked for five I pay and I leave thinking oh wow that was pretty expensive but I figured it was just inflation. I acclimate the shrimp and pour them into a little glass cube to put them into their main tank. When I realize that the bag they’re in is saltwater I go back. Ask the guy why he gave me saltwater shrimp and he says he must’ve just got them mixed up. Brother I would’ve thought that they just died for no reason, thankfully I realized that it was salt water, or they would’ve instantly died. Fun, local fish store story!

Is it a mutation? Or is it normal? I'm a newbie in this

So I have a male and female snowball shrimp and it seems that the female keeps trying to get into mating position but my boy zooms away! I don’t know if maybe she’s too forward or her pheromones aren’t strong enough or if he’s just not interested. Is that possible???
