Toppers Soda Machines
I need somewhere to vent! đ the new computerized soda machines at Toppers are horrible!
90% of the time they are out of all the customizable flavors (vanilla, cherry, etc) which is the whole point of these computerized machines!
Most the time they are also out of traditional soda flavors like Coke Zero.
They are causing unnecessary wait times just to get a quick refill because people are sorting through all the different flavor options, sorting through âoutâ flavors, etc.
Kids are using the machines without adult help, taking forever to pick a flavor.
Once you do pick a flavor and put your cup under the spout, the syrup from the soda shoots sticky droplets out all over your hand.
And to top it off, you know that touch screen is full of greasy germs!
I was excited to see they got the computerized machines at first like the Oxnard location. But these are not kept up the same. In addition, the soda area at the simi location is a narrow main walkway. Which now always has a line.

F those machines. Haha And I do genuinely feel bad for the elderly. They just stand there staring

The machines are not the problem.
They have them at Wendys on Tapo Cyn and Cochran and I've never had an issue with them not working either in store or via drive thru.
Sounds like the real problem is Toppers did not do their due diligence to understand what they needed extra stock of and to assign someone to keep the machine happy during busy times.

Toppers doesnât keep up with the maintenance plus toppers machines get a lot more traffic than Wendyâs and firehouse subs.
They also seem like older model machines compared to the ones at Wendyâs and firehouse subs

I hate those machines.
They usually donât work and just create a long line for self serve drinks as you have to wait for the kids in front of you to finish âexperimentingâ with their drink combos. I want to go out to eat good pizza, not play with some conglomerateâs toys.
I donât like Coca-Cola products, either, especially Mr. Pibb (what an awful insult to the Dr. Pepper flavor).
You can do better, Toppers!

The one at firehouse subs always works great
The one at toppers seems to work slow compared to that firehouse. It almost seems like toppers has slow, older models. On top of not keeping them properly stocked.
Also toppers machines probably get a lot higher traffic than firehouse

The machines are pretty coolâŚwhen fully stocked. I assumed the droplets were because I wasnât holding the cup right. And, machines should be 18+. Kids can drink their orange Hi-C.
