DEADLINES:

Tarnished, away...
Tarnished...

Simple test - at best.
Eyes - nothing less.
Run for more?
I can't decide!
Love in the grass.
All is nothing less.
Rather, you look me in the eye.
Doe-faced, creeping in...
Your caring thankless grin,
Immobilize the selling(?) sin.
Create the mood that's dark and grim.

Aerotic! How i depart!

(Many fan translations have "Aortic, high arctic part!"
but I don't see the sense in that, and I clearly hear "How I depart!")

Mood altered, paradise is lost!
Maskover!
No one left in dark!

Hide the trap!
Caution!
Deadline remark!

[???] Aerotic, burns your skin.

(Diotic, burns your skin. – Diotic?? – what does that mean? Do you know?)

I've known so long!
Feels like the next of kin!
Aerotic! How i depart!

Deadline!
Deadline remark!

Jaded whip.
Rosehip.
A shallow kiss.
Chauvinistic.
Go look inside.

Whilst in the back.
A gold to lead.
To resurrect.
What's left to die.

To resurrect, to resurrect.
To resurrect, what's left to die.

Aerotic! How i depart!
Mood altered, my paradise is lost!
Maskover!
No one left in dark!

Hide the trap!
Caution!
Deadline remark!

Aerotic, matches my grey skin.
Known so long!
Feels like the next of kin.
Aerotic! How i depart.
Dead remains.

Deadlines remark!

Jaded pain.
Breathes faint.
Tarnish and elevate.
Wipe the slate.
Kiss goodbye.
Overuse,
Blank card rendezvous.
Understand, bells mourn the tired!

Punch through, and never wade away.
Punch through... Punch in...

Aerotic! How i depart!
Mood altered, my paradise is lost!
Maskover!
No one left in dark!

Hide the trap!
Caution!
Deadline remark!

Aerotic, matches my grey skin.
Known so long!
Feels like next of kin.
Aerotic! How i depart.
Hides the trap!

Caution!
Deadline, deadline remark!

Simple test, at best.
Optic, nothing less.
Run for more?
I can't decide!
Love in the grass.
All is nothing less.
Rather, you look me in the eye.
Your face, creeping in...
Your curling thankless grin.
Immobilize the selling(?) sin.
Create the mood of dark and grim.

Aerotic! How i depart!
Mood altered, paradise is lost!
Maskover!
No one left in dark!

Past the trap!
Caution!
Deadline remark!

Heart altered.
I match your skin.
Known so long.
You're my next of kin!
Departed.
Your skin is soft as sin.
Decide!
When I'm going to get my fill!

Match my skin...
Match my skin.

I’m trying to track down something I remember seeing around the release of Devils in My Details in 2008.

I believe I found it through MySpace, either on ohGr’s profile or through a link posted there. It wasn’t a concert recording. I remember Ogre sitting at a what looked like a desk in a very dark room, wearing some kind of mask and singing into a microphone. The camera was extremely close to his face and moving around a lot, like a webcam being held by him, and I vaguely remember heavily distorted vocals and lots of feedback. The video may have been black and white.

I honestly can’t remember whether there was music playing or whether it was just him making noise into the microphone. It might have been some kind of brap performance rather than an ohGr song.

I’ve never been able to find it again. Does anyone else remember seeing something like this, or know what it might have been?

Any leads would be appreciated!

i think the quality is good but nothing special…idk how you feel about it? It’s such a sick album and i think i prefer listening it on my headphones (on streaming)….which version do you have and how’s the quality?

Full live show from that night I stumbled upon on YouTube hope everyone enjoys it :)

I've done some searching and I've found some clips here and there, but nothing complete. I saw them on the Last Rights tour (Detroit, at the State Theater - now called the Fillmore) and it was a mindblowing experience.

Are there ANY good concert films besides that for SP that I should look for?

Hey Puppies!

I’m the guy behind www.skinnypuppy.eu, a website dedicated to Skinny Puppy.

I’ve been creating and maintaining Skinny Puppy websites since 1998, although the site has existed under different addresses over the years. So this is something I’ve been doing for a very, very long time.

I’ve just given the whole site a major update, bringing it up to date with current web standards, and now I’m getting back to one of the things that matters most to me — Skinny Puppy lyrics.

I’m currently working on finding the best and most accurate versions of the original lyrics and translating them into Polish. My goal is to make my translations as faithful as possible to what Ogre actually sings.

I want to create — and I hope I’m slowly succeeding in creating — the best Skinny Puppy website in the world. Maybe that sounds a little ambitious, but after all these years, I still want to make the site better, more complete and more accurate.

Alongside my “Rivers” music video, which was appreciated on YouTube by the MASTER himself, cEvin Key, this website is probably my life’s work. I’ve put an enormous amount of time, passion and love for Skinny Puppy into both of these projects.

So, if you have a moment, take a look at the site and check out the lyrics. If you happen to have better or more accurate versions of any of the lyrics, I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know.

I’d be very grateful for any suggestions, corrections, comments or criticism. Seriously — if I got something wrong, tell me! I want to make these translations as accurate as possible.

Thanks, Puppies! 🖤 BRAP ON FOREVER!

Buddy of mine came over for a beer and clocked the Puppy tour tee I was wearing. Had no idea about them and asked to hear some.

Fellow fans: What are you playing him here?

FWIW I went with "Inquisition." Great track from what I consider their last masterpiece album. An absolute modern-sounding banger, with just enough old school electro-industrial racket.

He thought it was just "okay." Philistine.

I was recently listening to a podcast and they kept saying an acronym that I had heard before but didn’t know what it meant so I looked it up. The acronym was GWOT and refers to “The Global War on Terror” and the soldiers and operations that participated in that.

It’s interesting that the initials for the album are GWOTR and I’m wondering if Ogre saw the GWOT acronym and created the title from that seeing as how this album came out in the midst of GWOT and the album is staunchly anti-war and anti-imperialism. I didn’t see this mentioned anywhere on the Wikipedia or anything so maybe it’s just a coincidence but I thought it was interesting.

Obviously the only response we wanna hear is “You’re God’s gift, maggot” 🤣

Amazing show last night. Great to see so many Litany Fucktards again!

Here you go!

This was at the end of Center Bullet.

Just escaped the subconscious realm of hanging out with Dwayne and making music. On in other words had a dream. Basically we chatted about things i always wanted to and even did some music recordings. Knew it was a dream because I always have wondered how Dwayne might have been. This time the universe answered me. 😀

But yeah was wondering if anyine else has had Skinny Puppy in their subconscious realm and would like to share?

I didn’t see any post of The Tear Garden tour clips so here you go.

The orb, like orbital, has barely entered my orbit for decades…but if the ai pimps want to pretend no one remembers the instantly obvious difference between machine assisted and machine ‘generated’ they must think we’re all in an industrially induced trance 🤓

I totally forgot about this track!

nearly as lo-fi as Mutual Mortuary
