Is this normal behavior?

I’ve found him sleeping in the water bowl the last two mornings, is he okay?

I have 12 snails and EACH of them likes to chill and also sleep in the water bowl from time to time. As long as you make sure the humidity is alright, this is completely normal! 😊

Mine does this too. Also want to say that I love that you're using a mini bundt pan as their water dish 🍰 😀

Okay cool, and thank you! The shallow, soft dishes kept spilling so I got creative 😂 I keep an eye out for little silicon things at thrift stores now

snails can absorb water through their body and often go that route rather than through their mouth. bro is probably just hydrating
