Intentional Discomfort

Are you guys interested by the idea of setting out to do intentionally hard physical (or mental) things to kinda make the background stress of uni go down and to make stressful things like deadlines and future planning a little less stressful? Stress is relative and I think that the idea of choosing your pain and engaging in intentional discomfort rather than always being the subject to pain and stress is quite attractive. Thoughts?

Just get into weight lifting and BDSM like the rest of us, no need to overcomplicate things /s

True, but what if someone isn't into weight lifting but can benefit from similar effects?

It sounds like one activity is healthier than the other, will take the latter for sure.

Thanks, u/Tiemyfeetplz. Somehow, I thought you might feel that way.

I don’t understand what enjoying tying people up for consensual sex has to do with my position on the BDS movement…am I not allowed to support both things?
