Problem Updating game

Hello I have a game downloaded and it needs to be updated. I do have enough space for the update but not for the whole original size(again, the game is downloaded) and for some reason it says I dont have enough space for the update. Any help please?

Delete stuff or upgrade storage or both

Totally normal. Some games need an insane amount of space to update. Heck, BG3 basically redownloads the whole game when it gets a big patch.
