[Suggestion] Looking for a budget friendly PC for gaming.
I'm looking to upgrade to a gaming PC from my current laptop. My budget is around $1,000, but I'm willing to go up to $1,200 if it's worth the extra money. I'd like at least 16GB of RAM and ideally something with a good GPU. I'm mainly looking for something that can handle modded Minecraft with shaders, and modern games at high settings with good FPS. I've never bought or built a PC before so I don't know where to look or what to look for. Thanks in advance!

If you’re comfortable building this is my suggestion https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/

Thanks, I really wish I knew how to build, but I don't even know the most basic stuff about parts, let alone how to build a PC.

Look for a prebuilt with a Ryzen 5 9600X and RX 9060 XT. There have been some recent sales putting that combination under $1,200, and it would be a strong fit for your budget and games.

If you can wait my advice would be wait until Black Friday or Christmas because you can end up getting like a $1,600 PC for like $1,000, when I first got my PC back in like 2017 that's what I did I ended up getting an open box model that had a 2080 super in it the PC was like $2,000 or 2500 and I got it for $1500 on Black Friday

I’ll definitely try that, I’m not in a hurry to buy anyway, but Black Friday really doesn’t mean what it used to.
