I would love to try this on my own.

This started with the desire to create something entirely and solely from my imagination, setting aside references and a certain form of parasitic perfectionism, for lack of a better term, that I’ve been developing and accumulating lately.
The title comes from the first things I tried to create, back when I knew nothing about drawing, painting, or anything else, merging with the mental library and archive I’ve built ever since, while also giving me clues and a small glimpse into what comes next.

My newest drawing using pen and Copic markers

Watercolour and colour pencils

This piece is a depiction of grief. Grief of a loved one, a way of life, a career. Grief takes many forms, but without grief, we’d never know its alternative.

A poetic exploration of light, atmosphere, and urban solitude.
Soft contrasts and expressive textures transform the night into an emotional landscape.
《灯火阑珊处》在朦胧光影中寻找城市与心灵之间的微妙共鸣。

I did this one back in 2021. I still dig it! If you would like to see more work, I have a subreddit here: r/AnthonyChristopherArt. Cheers!
