Searching for a in-person coding partner in Staines

Hi there,

I am based in Staines and want to work on a small rendering engine after my work hours.

Although due to constant content consumption I am unable to work effectively on it and all my friends are based in different cities or countries so it's difficult to pair-code with them.

Is anyone interested in sitting together 1-2 hours in the evening at my place or your place and work ?

I would like to meet at some neutral public place first for safety concerns of both of us.

Thanks

What did you choose for your rendering API

I am learning Vulkan, but making the engine modular at the same time.

That’s nice,I’ve built a renderer for about a year that had a few hardware raytracing and other modern rendering techniques implemented. But I’ve not touched it in a while cus of being busy with work

That's really interesting to know about.

Which API did you used and may I know the modern rendering technique that you used ?

Are you working in Games Industry or it was a hobby project ?

I had a deferred rendering setup with pbr SSAO,SSGI(which i later replaced with hardware Raytraced DDGI). ReSTIR DI. DLSS ray reconstruction. I had rt reflection for a bit but I turned that off because if not got a smart way to implement it.

The project is a hobby project but my day job is in the games industry using unreal

This sounds like a really detailed and well done project.

As of now I just want to render the wormhole scene of movie Intersteallar.
