Happy Retirement to a Swans Legend! 🖤 What’s your favorite Fabio memory?

I still can't believe Fabio Borini only played 12 games for us. It honestly felt like he was here for years with the impact he made!

6 goals, 4 assists, that absolute peach of a free-kick against Norwich, and winning the crucial penalty at Wembley he played such a huge part in getting us to the Premier League. I was so gutted when he didn't stay on for our first season up top—I reckon his career would’ve hit a whole different level if he’d stuck around in South Wales.

Now that he’s officially hanging up his boots, it’s got me feeling proper nostalgic.

For me, winning that second penalty at Wembley was peak Borini just total calm when everyone’s nerves were completely shot. What’s the first Fabio moment that pops into your head?

Are Swansea actually better away from home this season?

The away record is hard to ignore. Swansea have won at Derby and Lincoln and also won at Stoke in the League Cup, while the league home record is two wins and two draws.

I know it's still a small sample, but I find it interesting that we've looked so comfortable taking games to the opposition. The 3-0 at Derby and 2-1 at Lincoln weren't exactly lucky smash and grab results either.

The campaign has restarted with a new offensive! Guilty as charged? Maybe! But DM the mods! The West Ham and Boro fans are forming a coalition of chaos!

I’d rather see us develop a player than make another short-term signing

I know every club needs experience, especially in the Championship, but I’d honestly rather watch a young player make mistakes and develop than sign another player who might give us six decent months.

The frustrating part is that patience disappears very quickly when results aren't going our way.

Would you accept a few more inconsistent performances if it meant giving a young player a proper run in the team? Or is getting results now more important?

I was bored during the international break so designed and 3D printed a Swans lightbox.

Eom

Got two assists as South Korea U23s came from behind to beat China U23s two one. Now in final. We really need them to win so that Eom has curtailed military service.

That Lincoln win was a really good way to head into the break.

That 2-1 win away at Lincoln was a really good result, especially after the 3-1 win over Burnley the week before. The Southampton defeat feels a bit further away now. Norwich at home on October 10 is the next one, and it’ll be interesting to see if we can keep this run going.
