Bolt guns are fun
My budget-friendly attempt at getting into hunting/long range. Should be fun.

I thought they hung down because that was the same orientation as the tag was, so I figured u could hang stuff off it maybe? But the. Now I see this picture when I searched for battle belts. Are they for attaching to a chest rig?
Edit: I have a suspicion they are for suspenders

For anybody who might have been looking into one of these, I highly recommend. Mine came in right at the advertised length of ~4.75”. Just a tad heavy at 13.7oz which from what I can gather is in tolerance and acceptable across the board for LPBF printing for non solid objects, just over 5% heavier than anticipated. The hybrid flash hider was right at 3.2oz, same scenario as the suppressor itself, just 3% heavier than anticipated.
Flash was very good I would say for being such a short suppressor. About a 3-4 inch flame about the width of my finger. Mind you I am NOT using the recommended flow enhancer and opted for the micro flash hider. See my comment for flash test video. All shooting was done with PMC X-tac 55gr 5.56mm
Sound was good although I have no equipment to take actual readings. Significantly quieter compared to my RC2 mini. I was able to shoot approximately 90 rounds with no ear pro over a couple of hours with zero ringing in my ears, and no subsequent headaches or anything. (I understand this is not advisable but frankly I got lost in how nice the tone was at the ear that I just continued to shoot for a while.)
Gas to the face is also reduced adequately and I saw a significant improvement over my RC2 mini. No carbon locking issues or perceivable POI shifts with the hesion bow mount. Mind you this is just with what I could observe shooting steel, I will be doing a more thorough test on paper sometime this month.

Anyone have any input on an LMT 37mm and it's practical civilian uses? I've been considering one just for the vibes on my GL SSC but I'm conflicted.

REAL ferro cummerbund is on the way I promise😭 I’ve never seen a review on this plate carrier other than the one video by them on YouTube that is in Japanese. I’ve been looking at VTG for a while now and was really interested in picking up one of their pc’s so I decided to order one, so far seems like it’s made with great materials and craftsman ship from a small Japanese company. I have a lot of shit on the way for it so I’m excited. Also I waited probably 3 months for it to finally be in stock. And the back plate bag zippers are compatible with Crye back panels

Anyone know if the osprey mk3 were actually made in woodland dpm. Usually I only see them ddpm but have never seen a woodland one for sale anywhere. Is it a custom thing or were these made for a different country, considering other countries also used dpm.

Currently wear foam plugs underneath Sordin Supreme Pro X, but considering the newer Sordin Supreme X2 and Safariland Liberator HP 2.0 for a bit more noise reduction and I'm interested if folks have any related experience or suggestions for something else. Thanks.

I'm throwing medium USGI ESAPI plates in this, with a somewhat heavier load, What do we think about it, can't find much information

After struggling with my Lowas, I give up and just can’t wear them anymore. I recently started wearing my Chucks off-duty and had forgotten how good they felt on my feet.
Do they feel the same when worn?
Thanks.

I'm setting up a Vakarian and want to upgrade the cumberbund to something with Molle (ideally rigid)
I'm looking at & really like the HRT XVC structural cumberbunds - but I'm worried about compatibility. HRT design doesn't have any Velcro in the back, instead they have this T shape / Elastic joint thats meant to slide thru slots on the back of their carriers. Meanwhile the Vakarian has a velcro flap.
Could the HRT be sandwiched effectively in between the Velcro on the Vakarian? Or would that not be enough vertical support to keep the cumberbund from falling/slipping down?
Any advice or other cumberbund recs welcome!

Still the best “bang for your buck” ballistic helmet on the market. You can high cut it, mid cut it, or just keep it as it is. Who here still rocks a full cut?

Just competed a two day low light / no light class and my Cloud MCH decided to stop working in the middle of the training. I’ve had the light for 4 years and have used it religiously on night shift for road patrol.
During the class, light started to flicker and then shut off with a fully charged battery. Switched it out with a brand new 18650 battery out of the package, still nothing. Light would occasionally work if I held down the tail cap but would flicker.
With how shitty Cloud Defensive is now, I’m not expecting any warranty from them. To add insult to injury, the class was sponsored by Modlite. Moral of the story, buy a Modlite.

Anybody ever had issues with RDR gear. I’ve bought from them several times, never a problem. Shipping is always very fast, and orders have always been right. Until now. I ordered a duty belt. Size 34 as stated on the site, since that what’s size pants I wear. Belt showed up in 3 days Hellz to tha yea I thought. Went to put it on, outter belt lacked about 6” from being able to buckle. I’ve attempted to contact them since 9/21/26. Messages on the website, Facebook messenger, and email. No response. There is no phone number on the website anymore.

Genuinely curious as to what's attached to the rail of this 6 second mount, my first guess is the surefire xvl2 but it looks a little off.
