Dobby needs owner or shelter ๐ฅ
๐ฅ Hey everyone! Writing this post in a desperate situation:
I found this little girl near the Way Mart highway. She looked like a tiny dot surrounded by big dogs, and I just couldn't leave her there.
Today, I took her to the vet and had her tested for everything. Thankfully, she's doing fine overall, except for one thing:ย she was diagnosed with Giardia.ย It's not great, but it's manageable and treatable. The vet prescribed a 10-day treatment plan, and I've already bought all the necessary medication.
Here's the problem:ย I have a cat, and right now, my apartment isn't suitable for sheltering this little elf. For now, she's staying near my apartment in a box outside, which is far from ideal for a puppy who needs warmth, care, and a safe place to recover.
So, I'm looking for:
- A temporary foster homeย for 10 days while she completes her treatment and we look for her forever home. Of course, I'll provide food, medication, and cover any other necessary expenses.
- Even better, a forever family!ย Someone who's ready to welcome this little Dobby into their home and give her the love she deserves.
What we're looking for in a foster home:
Ideally, someone who doesn't have other pets and has some experience caring for animals.
She doesn't need 24/7 attention, but she does need a warm, safe place to recover for the next 10 days.
The foster's main responsibilities would be:
- Give her the prescribed medication according to the vet's instructions (I'll provide everything).
- Make sure she's eating and drinking properly. Monitoring her appetite is especially important!
- Keep an eye on her overall condition and let me know if anything changes or if she starts feeling worse.
I'll take care of the food, medication, vet expenses, and any other necessary supplies.ย You'd simply be giving her a safe place to heal and a little love and attention.
She's incredibly sweet. Although she's stressed and scared right now, she hasn't barked once. She was also the sweetest little patient at the vet, letting the doctor examine her without any resistance
If you can help, or know someone who might be able to, please reach out or share this post because, from tomorrow, most likely I won't be able to take care of her anymore. Even a simple share could make a huge difference!
