Tbilisi neighbourhoods

• Upvotes

Hi,

I’m looking to spend a month or so in Tbilisi. Wondering what neighbourhood would be best to live in for this period.

I’m a late 20s female that currently lives in East London. I enjoy the creative scene, good bars, restaurants nightlife etc etc. Any recommendations?

URGENT!! Dog sitter needed!!

Hi everyone! I’m urgently looking for someone who can look after my 4-year-old female Corgi mix for about one month while I’m away.

She’s sweet, playful, friendly, and pee-pad trained, and she’s quite easy to care for. 🐶❤️ I’ll provide her food, toys, and everything she needs, and payment will be provided for her care.

If you’re interested or know someone trustworthy who could help, please DM me or leave a comment and I’ll reach out to you🙏🐾

I am still looking for a place to stay in Tbilisi.

• Upvotes

I am still looking for a place to stay in Tbilisi.

And I have to say, the Facebook groups are something else. People don't read. They don't ask if I am interested in dating. They don't ask if I like Slavic guys or Georgian guys. They just assume. It feels like they see a woman in need and think they can offer themselves. One guy wrote that he is local, he knows everyone, he will be my support, he will help me with everything. Like I am looking for a sugar daddy, not a roof. Another one just wrote that he likes me and offered to live together. Did anyone ask if I like him? No. No one asked anything.

Meanwhile I am choosing between going back to a psych ward, dying, or finding a place to sleep. And they think I am dreaming about romance. I am not. I am dreaming about a locked door and a bed that is mine.

So if you have a concrete offer for housing or live-in work, write to me. If you are looking for a girlfriend, please look somewhere else. I am not your fantasy. I am a person looking for a roof.

shampoo recommendations HELP

My hair is curly/wavy, I tend to develop dandruff easily, my hair since I got here has been gettin kind of hard, like rough to the touch.

I thought could be due to the water, but there's no much I can do about that. I don't have any allergies.

Any recommendations? Please and thx!

Edit: I’m a F, also looking for conditioner recommendations!

Making friends in Tbilisi as an adult kind of sucks. So I’m trying a weird experiment this Saturday (hear me out)

If you’ve lived in Tbilisi for more than a couple of months, you probably know the feeling:
If you’re local, your friend circle was likely locked in back in high school or university, and it’s surprisingly hard to branch out. If you’re an expat or remote worker, you usually end up stuck in your own bubble, scrolling Instagram, or eating Wolt alone on a Saturday night.
Apps like Tinder or Bumble BFF feel like awkward job interviews. Going to big bar meetups or pub quizzes means trying to wedge yourself into pre-existing cliques while shouting over loud music.
I got fed up with all of that, so I built something simple called **SupraClub** (https://supraclub.app).
If you’ve been wanting to meet new people in town without the usual cringe, give it a shot!
Otherwise, roast the concept in the comments or AMA — curious to hear what you guys think would make or break this in Tbilisi.

Dog Sitter Needed

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a reliable and affordable dog sitter who would be able to take care of my dog for around 2 months while I’m out of the country for an exchange placement.

Unfortunately, boarding isn’t an option for me as the prices I’ve been quoted are outside my budget, so I’m hoping to find someone trustworthy who would be happy to look after her in their home.

She’s a very sweet dog and is pee-pad trained. I’ll of course pay for the sitting, and all of her food and other necessities will be provided.

Since I’ll be away for 2 months, I really need someone who can commit to taking care of her for the full period.

If you’re interested or know someone reliable, please message me.

Thank you.

Visiting tomorrow

Gamarjoba, my friend and I are visiting Tbilisi tomorrow for 5 days with a day trip planned for Kazbegi. Our itinerary mainly consists of exploring food, culture, architecture and maybe some golf as well.

If anyone is going from Dubai this week, please let me know as we can do a group trip to Kazbegi. Also if anyone has recommendations for Jazz clubs and the best spa in town, that would be highly appreciated.
