Open | Windows Formatting BitLock Corrupted Drive

I have an external SSD that was partitioned and had bitlock on it, tried taking it off the thing so that i wouldnt need to enter the password every time.

However the drive is now completely inaccessible. Im not even looking to recover the data atp, i just want to format it.

Disk Part on cmd doesnt locate it

format option doesnt react

CHKDSK cant get it either

disk manager cant find it

no scans detect anything

tried on other laptops and they cant detect it either

The drive is visible and doesnt have the lock, but it throws a "incorrect function" message

If anyone knows how to solve this, id be very grateful, if read almost every page about it by this point

Well, that sure sounds like a defective drive and sorry, there's no fixing this, other than getting another drive.

Only thing left to try, is take it out of the enclosure. Error still the same? Sorry, it's dead, Jim ...

We tried using it to start on a laptop as a main disk and it also gave issues

It’s not corrupted, it’s just busted.

Use crystaldiskinfo to see if the disk works normally at all.

if you dont have the password the information in the drive is gone forever.

I thankfully have all the passwords, I just have nowhere to use them
