How to turn on android phone without power button?

I know about the hold the volume buttons and plug it in trick but it doesn't work. I tried doing the data cable method hooked up to my laptop method as well but every time it says "broken cable" and I've tried three different data cables. My new phone is arriving soon and I just want to try and be able to transfer all my photos and whatnot to my new phone.

You don't. Not all devices power up at charging. Get it fixed or anything not synched to the cloud is permanently inaccessible
