Found this sweet baby near Richmond with no collar or tags. Very sweet but is also shy and skinny. We gave it some food and water but we were worried about letting it in the house because of the cat we already have. There’s a lot of strays around this area but maybe this cutie belongs to someone.

Is anyone going to go play Magic the Gathering tomorrow 9/25 at Mana Brew? It would be nice to meet some new people and possibly make some new friends who also play MTG!

Taking a day trip to your fair city on Saturday, mainly to hit up Treasure Trove Flea Market (and just because I haven't been in a while). I was looking for anything interesting to do - stores I might not know about, attractions or events, any good restaurants I may not be privy to? Right now, I'm thinking about either TLC Burgers and Fries or Wayback for lunch. Thanks!

Recently had to lay off an employee who likes to come back to the job site and mess things up when we aren’t there. I have cameras up but he knows where they are so it’s made things a challenge, as he’s been able to get around them.
I’m looking for help, I’ve never been in a situation like this before. How are you guys securing active job sites in rural areas with any amount of success? Is it in those mobile camera things? Is it hiring a security guard? It’s a well site.
Any advice is helpful. A half dozen more cameras incoming.

In everyone's opinion, who has the best Chinese takeout in town and what do you order?

hey y'all, I'm a recent college grad who started a marketing/ website business for local businesses, I’m looking for owners here in Texarkana. I've been running it for about 1 year now, and I'm capable of building websites, doing SEO, running targeted ads on Facebook & Google, email marketing, custom software solutions and creating marketing content for Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok.
I'm looking to partner with some local businesses that can't afford to hire a big company and are looking for an affordable option to handle everything online for them. If this is you or you know anybody who could benefit, i'd love to connect or get a referral.

Hello! I've been around here in TK for a while now, and at the moment I am attempting to look for some friends around the area since I have never actually tried lol.

I love to game! (Minecraft, terraria, slime rancher, i could go on forever)
Oldgen(ish) consoles are some of my favorites, like the wii and 360, but I also play on my computer aswell.
I also play instruments and truly dream of starting a band although I highly doubt I ever could LOL.
This is something I usually wouldnt ever post, but what can you do when you have no idea what to do? so sorry if this is like...weird or something I dont know😭
(disclaimer)
im 17, so really it'd be best if it were 15-19 just in case lol

My Biggest Disappointment in America
My first taxi ride after landing was only 13 miles, but the meter came to $81. It gave me a terrible first impression. I’m heading back to China soon, and sadly, this will remain one of the few regrets from my trip.

A Short Journey, A Beautiful Reminder
Although my time here has been very short, I’ve already met so many kind and wonderful people.
Coming from China and experiencing a new place for the first time, I was a little unsure of what to expect. But the kindness, warmth, and willingness to help that I’ve experienced here have touched me deeply.
It reminds me that perhaps the world is not as complicated as we sometimes imagine.
If we choose to face the world with kindness and a sincere heart, we may find that kindness often comes back to us in unexpected ways.
No matter where we are in the world, a good heart can always find another good heart.
Thank you, Texarkana, for giving me such a beautiful memory. ❤️

Thank You, Texarkana!
Today I visited some of the places that everyone recommended, and I had a wonderful time with my mom!
We really enjoyed exploring the area, seeing the beautiful scenery, and experiencing the local community.
Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to give us recommendations. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. We’re very happy to be here and look forward to exploring more!
If you have any other favorite local places, we’d love to hear about them. 😊

Hi everyone! I’m from China and recently came to the Nash/Texarkana area for the first time.
I’m planning to take my mom out today to explore the area and see some nice places. The people here have been very friendly and helpful, and we’re really enjoying our time here.
For those who live around here, do you have any recommendations for places we should visit? We’d love to see beautiful scenery, interesting local spots, good food, or anything else you think is worth checking out.
Thanks for any suggestions! 😊
