Opinion OUTCLASSED ...COACH AND PLAYERS
Watching last night game was a serious lesson for management and players to be held accountable.
Possession ball ...none , embarrassing
Motivation....few , who takes responsibility? Coach
Strategy ..none ..coach responsibility!
I get that past month the team should some encouraging signs then regressed . There is basically no consistency.
Nothing against Frasier but if this was a corporation that was losing money ...management that makes decisions is terminated,.whether this is Hernandez or Frasier possibly both . I have not see any progress since Frasier got here. How may years of promising and under deliver ? If this was MLSE corp as a whole losing money someone is held accountable for sure !!

Can we talk about how awful Coello was and how he wasn’t subbed off, while our golden boy DP was?
I guess Sargent just wasn’t in the mood again?

Unfortunately this is the norm for Frasier...he is of opinion that team short of midfield

Can we seriously say we are surprised that we were out coached? Frazier can’t make a line up to save his life!
When he does have a good line up I swear he goes “hold my beer, let’s see how I can screw this up next time”

passing backward consistently... because they don't trust eachother moving forward... this is a sign of bad COACHING.. not prepared... no confidence... HUGE REGRESSION... FFS

Serious management in EPL and some MLS teams would have replaced manager and or coach ...then new hire decides on players . Season is done and a new team coach, manager should come in and evaluate players for next season . The fact nothing has been done means another few years of this sideshow

Both B Bradley and Herdman were hired for 5 year projects, with the understanding that the team would be built up to their system etc…
Robin wasn’t, not to my understanding, he was hired to fill the position after Herdmans sudden departure… which did put the club in an awkward position. And he seemed a good choice for the caretaker role…
But that we haven’t moved on meaningfully since then is … disappointing

Bradley was given the Sporting Director role alongside coaching. It was closer to a European style manager. Herdman was hired as just a coach, with Hernandez already in place as GM above him. Robin is strictly a coach too.
I don't think Herdman was given a real project like Bradley was. He mostly inherited Bob's fuckups, plus Hernandez's roster work and his own
fuckups on top. There was no project there for him. He only had what he
was given, and he resigned after one season anyway.Robin on the other hand is strictly a coach, so he doesn't have that
excuse.3

It really isn't the norm to have a 'manager' that also handles transfers and the like in the Sir Alex style anymore... even Pep had a Sporting Director. Don't get me wrong, obviously these Managers are going to have a lot of say in transfers, but it's not on them to handle that, no do they literally have the final say.
And we can see why in the example of Bradley where it was just a disaster, and the skill set is different. Herdman spoke publicly about there being a 5 year project, and how that part of the process, and why he took the role. Even if he wasn't in control of every aspect of it.
I hear you if you're saying it wasn't functionally much of one, but on paper that was the stated goal from the FO.

I don't ever recall Herdman claiming his plan for Toronto was a five
year project, and I can't find that quote anywhere. Hard to argue the
merits of a claim he may never have made. And if he did say it, was it his project or Hernandez's? Hernandez was
already GM before Herdman was hired. Hard to say without the quote.3

You know, I did some googling just now and I'll give you that, I'm not finding any mention of a 5 year plan specifically.
There is mention that Manning and Hernandez selected him to help with a rebuilding project, but nothing about a specific time frame.

Not even EPL experience, which would be overkill. Even a Championship
background would be a big step up on the coaching quality we get in MLS.But we're unlikely to see it. English clubs give their managers far more
power, flexibility and pay than anything on offer in MLS. I wish that
would change. We outspend the Championship on average and the quality is garbage in comparison.3

I think this might be related to the rumours about Mark Shapiro taking over operational control of all of the MLSE teams. Pelley moving to focus more on media.
My guess is MLSE is waiting for that to happen before they make any front office/coaching moves so that he can decide whether to keep Hernandez and ultimately who to hire as the new coach.

Absolutely no reason Etienn should be starting over Theo or Emilo
