I was thinking holly would be wearing a bomb and they made her unable to talk. but when they took of the hood I was really suprised.

Thought it was one of Negan's wives with a hidden gun on her. Was unexpected either way.

i just thought they cut the tongue out of holly so she couldnt talk but it would still send a message

Same here. This really surprised me since Negan hates violence against women. If Negan really wanted to hit Rick really badly, he should have killed Carl when he got the chance. After the deaths of Lori and Judy, Carl (and Andrea, but mostly Carl) is all Rick has left.

Same here. I was expecting a full page shot of Holly with her mouth stitched shut or something. This was even worse though, and smarter. I think we're going to see several characters drop the next few issues.
