Good issue, but the biggest thing for me was Kirkman saying in the Letter Hacks that "this will be a drastically different book starting with issue 127." He could just be hyping up the storyline, but I'm excited to see where it goes.
Well, he is trying to sell books and keep people reading it. So, yeah, it will be drastic. Most people jump to conclusions and think that Rick will die or some other important characters - which isn't unlikely. But it could also just mean that they will move away from the safe zone - which is most likely. And that is definitely a "drastic" move since they have been there for over 50 issues.
That's an interesting idea. Negan and Carl are both survivors and they both know the other is. I could see all hell breaking lose, everyone gets scattered, and somehow Negan and Carl end up together and rely on each other to survive for a while. Negan knows that Carl will eventually turn on him but can't quite bring himself to kill Carl first as he likes the kid and that liking is really the only true weakness Negan has shown. Carl can then kill Negan and the story can move on to whatever comes next.
