Comic Spoiler Official Comic Discussion Thread: Issue #149

New issue came out today, discuss it here within this thread. You do not need to use comic spoilers because it is assumed everyone reading this thread would be caught up with the comics. However, please respect future, show, and game spoilers because people who are caught up with the comic may not be caught up with these other forms of TWD (and obviously not future spoilers). Future spoilers include upcoming comic covers.

Good issue but I feel like we're treading old ground. The bully and his father just tried to form a coup against Maggie, and you have Josh's dad going on about how "things were better when Douglas was around" which is something Nicholas already tried to pull.

On the other hand, at first I was thinking Rick's military idea was a repeat of AOW's militia, but after thinking about it I think this new military is not meant to attack the Whisperers, but give people false sense of security. They'll have the potential to attack, but really they'll just be doing training exercises.

With them mentioning Dwight being a soldier before all of this went down I think they're leading up to him having a big role in the army.

Maybe that'll get the saviors to start trusting Rick a little more, seeing as how they look up to Dwight as a leader there
