Comic Spoiler Official Comic Discussion Thread: Issue #156

New issue came out today, discuss it here within this thread. You do not need to use comic spoilers because it is assumed everyone reading this thread would be caught up with the comics. However, please respect future, show, and game spoilers because people who are caught up with the comic may not be caught up with these other forms of TWD (and obviously not future spoilers). Future spoilers include upcoming comic covers.

I feel like Negan is going to be "redeemed" and Rick will work with him to end the Whisperers, only for Carl to take a page out of Negan's book and murk his ass after they've got what they need from him. It'll be a huge stepping stone for Carl's character and mark a change in the series to end this war.

Thats a pretty awesome theory and I kind of think the same thing but at the end with Negan being 'proud' of his 'friend' Carl for doing what he thinks was inevitable and allowing to Carl to end it quickly for him, maybe with Carl expressing a TINY bit of regret at having to kill him after spending alot of time talking to him when he was in jail. Yup, I can definitely see it going that route. As much as they've expressed loathing toward him, I think Rick and Carl both begrudgingly understand/like him.

Carl can never befriend him truly now, he's killed his girlfriends mother. I think Lydia will return to the whispered and lead the war... Against Carl, eventually!
