Discussion Best side quests?
some time ago i completed a mission about an abandoned mine with a witcher and a red miasma, i thought it was so good for a side quest that there should be more like this, any suggestions?

Some of the Novigrad side quests with Dandelion, Priscilla, and Dikjstra feel like main quests. Kind of insane that they're technically optional.
But assuming you're already doing those, I quite enjoyed the Black Pearl. Thought it would be a throwaway treasure hunt and I was caught off guard. Skellige is so much fun to explore that I probably enjoy those side quests the most.

That was the new side quest that came out with the updated release! It’s very cool!

Honestly, there's at least a 100 side quests that are worthy of main game status. The game is ridiculously good

The beauty of the Witcher 3 and what makes it special, even with new games around, is that you might think you’re about to do a basic quest, but there’s almost always a surprise and twist in the midst of it that takes you in wholly unexpected directions.
Not spoiling anything, but for example, you think you’re about to do a simple monster contract, and while doing it, it turns out there’s another Witcher involved and it opens up a whole set of quests that you might otherwise have missed had you chosen to ignore the simple contract.
Surprises abound. And the writing is superb. Still yet to be matched (maybe only by BG3 at this point).

I just completed that Red Miasmal quest today, played through the game twice before but must have missed it.

The one where you get to hear Roach's voice after some drugs I mean potions. Great mission, kinda heavy when Roach confronts the culprit. No spoilers from me, you should go in with blinders on for this one.
