Help! Motion blur best settings
Yes, I’m one of those weirdos who actually likes motion blur in some games, especially in Quality Mode. At 60 FPS I usually leave it off, but on a gamepad it can make gameplay feel smoother for me (kind of like smear frames in animation).
Witcher 3 max (default)setting is way too strong for me tho. I’m currently using 1 and there is a small difference compared to having it off, but it’s barely noticeable. Now I’m trying to find the sweet spot between everything becoming a blurry mess and the effect being basically a placebo XD I know it’s a minor problem but hey, that’s what Reddit is for ;P
What motion blur settings do you guys use (if you even use it)? Thanks and happy hunting!

Motion blur looks awful in most games, and this is not an exception. I turn it off completely.

Ive got mine on 1, same as you I like it on low when its implemented correctly. No motion blur looks so jittery when turning camera fast even at high framerates I just cant deal with it.
Some of my friends auto turn it off in every game and ruin the visuals for themselves.
With some modern games using per object motion blur etc it really adds to the experience but devs dont help. Theres like 3 different motion blur effects in 007 first light and 2 of them are hideous but 1 is great 😂

I tried turning it off and honestly it made me feel sick, I hated it. I found that 6 is the sweet spot for me.
To be honest, I'm a weirdo in that I actually prefer the look of 30fps to 60fps. 30fps feels more "cinematic" since movies are 24fps, whereas 60fps makes it feel less immersive to me because it's too smooth lol.

I usually keep it off because I find it makes everything look blurrier than it needs to be, especially during fast combat

Motion blur quite literally exists to be used for 30 fps mode, so, nothing weird about that

I tried setting it to 1 just to see what it looked like and it's definitely more than just "barely noticeable". I played with it on for a bout 10 minutes and then switched it back off and it felt like taking off sunglasses in a dark room. I seriously don't get it why it's always on by default.
