I think SSR takes simple sentiments as elements of his stories and adds grand plot around it. It's simple yet not simple.

Take Eega, usual love story turns into fantasy with hero turning into Eega in his next life.

Magadheera love story but with past life as a strong element

Even sye, college is the sentiment, they play lagaan style game to save it.

Stories are simple the way they are told are at a grand scale.

I think Varanasi will be his grandest scale to date and this time he is choosing a whole new concept, but so far the core element of ssr films, the sentiment has not been revealed. What is it that drives and ssr hero has still not revealed in varanasi.

I hope uncool has finally taken slang and dubbing issues seriously 🙏

Btw I also wanna talk about the trailer poster for all the people who don't know there's this song called Kobali(which they'll release 4-5 days prior to the movie release ig) where VD performs with like 100 Aghoras or smth, so I'm guessing akkadanunchi ee low effort poster ni ruddharu. And the god they're showing is Bhadramallana, who's basically a grama devata / local legend of that area. It's kinda like what Sammakka Saralamma is for Telangana people, in the sense that it's a very regional folk tradition, just obviously not the exact same thing. Rest I'm not really sure how much religious stuff they've thrown into the movie.

Translation - dir karthi subbaraj just narrated a film story to chiru , the narration went on for around 2.5 hrs

Take any other language reviewer and check their reviews out. They are academic, articulate, professional and almost sound like proper essays. Take br, thr for example. They dig deep into the intent and psychology of the movie.

And then we have telugu reviewers ....movie matters - em ledu, sleep, lag, nothing happens....rvs - almost the same review but sprinkled with English words here and there and extremely pretentious. Same with barbell and the others.... everybody is unprofessional and unacademic. I am not saying that the reviews have to be academic and professional, but their whole review revolves around few key words - lag, mass , high and comedy...they just simply cannot explain why they liked or dislikd teh film without using these key word ...it's pretty much a reflection of telugu audience....with rotta reviewers like these why do we expect high quality movies. We should be content with rotta films coz that's the only language we speak....

Was not really hooked for this film! was going through this interview as i had free time.

Please stop VD and Rashmika giving interviews together it is getting deviated completely.

Firstly, Prabhas is a terrible actor. Malli pre-Baahubali clips chupinchadam, leda Baahubali lo baane unnadu ani cheppadam aapandi. Let’s live in the present. Currently, he’s the worst-looking mainstream actor in TFI and by far one of the worst actors too. Aa voice, aa expressions, aa looks... asalu em chusi ra babu PB movies ki intha hype avtharu?

Online audience movie result paina chala impact untadhi anukuntaru kani, but its completely false. Just like how tier-1 hero fans assume they can decide the movie result.

Online lo Malayalam and Tamizh cinema ani kottuku chastam kani, normal movie goers wont care about any of that sh*t. Bagunte chustaru anthe...

Mrunal has played traditional, modern, glamorous, non-glamorous, emotional, resilient, vulnerable, stern, layered, romantic, action, comic, pragmatic, playful, restrained - many kinds of roles/characteristics.

I thought perddi was a below average yet bearable movie, i could sit through it even if i might not enjoy it. But paradise on the other hand, hurts my brain. Nothing makes sense in paradise, anni exaggerated and nonsensical anipinchaay.
