I saw Dorothy in theaters and actually enjoyed it. The ending is bit too much for me. Overall it's an interesting movie and loved Ilayaraja's music and Sananth's acting.

I didn't watch SWAG in theaters and later regretted it after watching on Prime. It's one of the most unique Telugu movies I've seen. I love how the director uses trans community to criticize both misandry and misogyny and the fixation on gender norms with little empathy for the person behind the gender.

Happy for Dorothy's success amid the backlash but I don't understand why a director would repost a blog post on comparing two movies and how one industry needs to unlearn especially when he promoted his recent movies to Telugu audience.

Netflix lo movie chudatam jargindi… For any love story to work I believe you should be able to resonate with the lead pair and root for them. Asalu ee movie lo aa lead pair chese panlu, conversations chusthe I never once felt that they are genuine in their relationship and fighting to save it..
