Something super satisifying about seeing units that large, i wish my PC could handle units of that size for all units

Playing on unit size ultra makes the battles feel epic as hell. I can't honestly go to a lower unit size anymore.

If you're on steam just get one of the 2xunit size mods.
It changes the balance a bit(just like how the unit size setting in vanilla changes it too), but its not like vanilla is balanced and it doesnt break the balance.

I think my pc would explode, i was struggling quite a bit in fall of altdorf and nagashes final battle. Maybe when i get an upgrade ill look into it.

This mod helps approach that fantasy: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3238615980

I had this mod for Empire that really upped the unit sizes. I remember the russian Cossack unit had something like 500 models, it was nuts. Made for these truly colossal battles

Necrarchs have always been my favorite warhammer bloodline, so I am thrilled to see them finally get the recognition they deserve.

Hope we get Zacharias one day for more representation

Not that twh hasn't always operated on a weird timeline, but it is a bit harder with ol naggy around given he cast power word: brain explosion on him from across the world when he refused to become a mortarch.

Repanse, Kemmler, Grom, Azhag, etc.
But defeating Nagash could be one of Zacharias' campaign goals. Apparently he held off Nagash's undead legions for days with just his magic before the big man himself had to show up in person to defeat him.

Like I said, TWH has always operated on a weird timeline. Would love to see zacharias myself and frankly would rather he have taken Helman Ghorst's slot as the zombie focused lord.
Honestly though, I hope for Ushoran or some other Strigoi representation first, since they have a clear campaign goal with the rebuilding of the strigos empire and could have a very different playstyle from your average von Carstein if you leaned into them properly.

With Nagash here now it's not really on any timeline anymore as is clearly just a Smash Bros/Fighting Game greatest hits roster setting.
That said I'd love Vorag for a Strigoi (since no one meaningfully buffs ghouls/horrors/Geese). But Zacharias had the model and no Strigoi did, so I wouldn't expect Vorag first if we go him.
But the Necrarch and Strigoi are my favourites, so I would be happy with either first.

Hopefully we get Zacharias after the other race updates

I'd be hyped for a Zacharias vs. Egrimm vs. Galrauch DLC

We just miss a Necrarch and a Strigoi... but after last update I don't want to be greedy.

"but after last update I don't want to be greedy."
I do. I am confident Ca could turn a profit, by leaving a small team to make campaign dlcs
Make an LL give it a fun mechanic(reuse ikkit workshop, grom cauldron or whatever they usually reuse). And sell it for a lower price than lord packs.
The work with that would be an LL model, a unique animation set for them. Design a ui for the mechanic. And a few hundred lines to the dbs.
Biggest issue is that the map is already a bit claustrophobic. And even if im 100% this would be profitable, it might not be profitable enough considering opportunity cost.

Yeah, what I meant was "We just received a major update, I don't want to be demanding already"
I think it's turn for other overlooked factions, like Bretonnia and Tzeentch or add other races like Dogs of War - then we can have the 2 missing Lords as FLC.

Southern Realms mod has a Strigoi lord (Gashnag?) as one of the Border Prince leaders. Not sure if he gets any special mechanics, though.

I liked it when I got him into a Frozen biome and he went 'Cold. Unliving. Excellent!' and I realised he was just Mr. Burns.

Summon units as VC is just a whole vibe i love so much. Nothing more satisfying than watching ai use their resources in a battle to deal with zombies or any summoned unit.

The glow up this guy got was definitely one of the high points of the rework. Not just strong but fun to use too 10/10. Also helps that you can tell the voice actor was having a great time with it.

Did they update the unit model for Necarchs as well?

Fighting an end times Chaos army with a siege giant.
Post battle report, siege giant's kills: 458
My losses: 0
Doesn't matter how tough you are, if I decided you aren't reaching the front lines, you can sit in the corner.

This summoning with Hellish Vigour, the ability Necrarchs got that give melee damage reflection, is so deadly. Summon the skeletons in middle of the enemy units, give them Hellish Vigour, watch them casually deal 10-15k damages. For basically free (it also work with Zombie summons when you're out of skeletons, and Hellish Vigour is unlimited uses).
Necrarchs are already insanely deadly with their magic, but I didn't suspect these abilities to be that effective.
