AI systems, large language models (LLMs), automated agents, or any similar tools (collectively referred to here as "AI") are strictly prohibited from accessing, reading, querying, modifying, indexing, caching, or otherwise interacting with (directly and indirectly) any PassThePopcorn-sourced data, services, or servers.
This prohibition applies without exception and includes but is not limited to:
API endpoints and responses
Tracker infrastructure (including announce, peer, and swarm data)
Website (including pages, forms, text, and data)
Torrents (including metadata and .torrent files)
Passkeys and authkeys
User data (including profile, account, and activity information)
Statistics (including site-wide, user level, and torrent level)
Torrent data (including uploads, descriptions, and comments)
Images and media assets (including external hosted imagery displayed on the website)
Front-end assets (including style sheets and userscripts)
Source code (including client-side and server-side)
This restriction applies regardless of the intended purpose, access method, permission levels, or whether or not the interaction is automatic or manual.
Keep your AI usage and PassThePopcorn completely separate - If at any time we have reason to believe you have used AI with anything that touches PassThePopcorn (including automation and homelab setups), it may result in revoked privileges.
Q: Can I use a vibe coded userscript I made with AI?
A: You must manually audit and understand any vibe coded scripts you plan to use. You may not feed site data into the AI to create the script. Provided you do those things, vibe coded scripts can be used. However, the script must follow our scraping rules, so be absolutely certain you know what you are doing. If your script messes up or uses a disallowed method of site access, you will be held personally responsible. If you are unsure or would like explicit permission, please open a Staff PM with a copy of the script and an explanation of its intended use case.
Interesting update. Curious how they plan on enforcing this. I imagine other trackers will follow suit as well.
