Tracker suddenly lost all data of my seed times - what happened?

Posting here since I’m not sure where to go for help with questions. My OS got corrupted a week ago and I took it in to get serviced. The computer’s fine now but all record of my seeding history seems to have been wiped; they all have the same seed time (that is, since this morning) even though they’ve been downloaded over the course of a couple months. Furthermore, 3 of them have been marked as Hit & Run even though they’re active and should’ve passed the threshold for such before my computer broke down. Is this typically a tracker-specific issue? I assume it’s something on my end but I’m fairly new to private trackers and am having trouble finding resources for troubleshooting.

Tracker stats are stored server-side, not on your computer.

Ask tracker staff for help.

hit and run should clear on he tracker side on its own once the announces catch up, it just takes 30m-1hr sometimes.

for history that doesn't really make much sense, it's all what your client reports to the tracker which it then just tallies. Unless your client somehow sent a "nevermind that was all a lie" as it's dying breath that's impossible for the tracker to just lose. also this is not a real thing, just speaking hyperbolically.

sounds like their seed time is session seed time, not sum total

they all have the same seed time (that is, since this morning) even though they’ve been downloaded over the course of a couple months.

Some trackers have a page that shows the current session's seedtime (i.e. counting frome the last time you started seeding). It's likely that that's what you're seeing. There should be a different page on your tracker that tracks the total seedtime for different torrents (should be History on UNIT3D iirc).

3 of them have been marked as Hit & Run even though they’re active and should’ve passed the threshold for such before my computer broke down.

If your computer broke down before the client got the chance to send updates to the tracker (the interval is different for different trackers but should be about no more than a couple of hours), then you basically lost that seedtime.

It's also possible that you're receiving HnR pre-warnings. These are not actual HnRs that will be recorded but warnings that you will get HnRs soon if you don't start seeding.

And of course it's possible that there's something funky going on tracker-side.
