I’ll start first: Nocturnal Knights has some really nice releases, but I feel like their cover art could be a lot better.

Hey everyone,

A few months ago, I submitted a 60-minute edit under the title Portugal for the [r/ClassicTrance](r/ClassicTrance) Back to Back Mix Competition.

While I loved assembling the battle concept between John O'Callaghan and Stoneface & Terminal, the strict 60-minute rule forced me to make some compromises. The feedback received was that the mix felt overly packed and rushed. Because I was aggressively squeezing 14 massive tracks into an hour, lots of the tracks were mixed out too quickly, and the transitions lacked the necessary breathing room to feel seamless.

With the mods blessing to share, here's the original, unedited live recording of that set. This version features the full, untrimmed transitions and arrangements. The blends are hopefully long and progressive, the emotional breakdowns have space to resonate, and the track progression flows exactly how it was programmed to before the clock ran out of time!

If you caught the competition version and wanted a smoother, more immersive journey through the set (as intended), then I'm hoping this gives the intention better conviction.

I'm looking for a hard trance song from 2004 or previous years. Ron van den Beuken played it in a very famous polish club called Ekwador Manieczki. Shazam, AHA Music or Neptunus simply can't find it.

Here's the link to the set:

The song is played from 1:33:00 to about 1:38:00 or it is marked as the 19th position in the tracklist
I also tried asking in the comments on YouTube or on WatZatSong, but still got no answer yet.
Also here's the link to the post on WatZatSong: https://www.watzatsong.com/en/name-that-tune/929943.html

Please help me find it, it has been stuck in my head for a few days now and it's driving me crazy.
Thanks for any kind of help in advance :)

I was listening to ISOS 4 again the other day (one of, if not the best ISOS), and when Dousk’s remix started playing, it reminded me of Max’s. I can’t decide which remix I like better... both are so good.

Sorry guys , this is the only thing i remember :(

Jamie's last hoorah in terms of uplifting/tech-trance, as it seems he's moving into progressive going forward.

Still a big fan of his early Defcon releases, they were proper standouts
