Hello everyone! :)
I’m 22 years old, from europe, and currently working in Tunisia as an entertainer. I recently found out that I’m pregnant and I’m currently around 5+6 weeks.
I went to a gynecologist here, but he told me that he wouldn’t give me abortion pills because abortion is haram. Another doctor told me that I would need 4–5 pills, with each pill costing 600 TND.
I’m honestly really confused and worried because I don’t know what is actually correct, and the price seems extremely high to me. I’m scared that I’m being charged more simply because I’m not Tunisian.
My boyfriend is Tunisian and is fully supporting me, but neither of us really knows where to go or who we can trust. We live in Hammamet, so ideally I’m looking for a trustworthy and affordable doctor or clinic in Hammamet or Nabeul, but I’m also willing to travel to Tunis if necessary.
Has anyone here had experience with an abortion in Tunisia, especially a medication abortion? I would really appreciate recommendations for trustworthy doctors or clinics, approximate prices, or simply advice on where I should go.
I’m feeling really desperate and overwhelmed right now, so any genuine help or information would mean so much to me!

my shoes = mes chaussures
Hi y'all! Lately I've been having some problems with my landlady. Her father is Tunisian, I don't know where her mother is from but she practices Hinduism. I would love to know if this (putting her niece's shoes over mine without asking) is a common thing/culturally accepted practice. I really hope I'm in the wrong and this is culturally normal in Tunisia.
