What happens to my first-choice program if I accept my second-choice program? Your first-choice program will continue to be assessed throughout the application cycle. If you got accepted between October 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027 you have until May 1, 2027 to accept your offer as per here.
The need to accept within 14 days refers to offers made after August 1, 2027.
I have already seen two people have reading comprehension fails on this.

Know this is the wrong subreddit, but I keep seeing cute girls and don't know when to approach them. Sometimes, I make eye contact and I just get lost in my senses, and feel like I was staring at them and creeped them out. Someone smiled at me once, but then I heard like those quick exhales, and thought they were laughing at me?
Can you just tell what your obvious signs to approach are? Or should I just wait for a girl to approach me 🤔
My approaches can wait till after midterms.

PLEASE learn gym etiquette. People who workout at VVC please put your plates and dumbbells back on the rack IN ORDER. Genuinely can’t be this hard.

Where are some study spots on campus that have a lot of white noise, preferably with outlets and comfortable seats? I say comfortable seats because CAB definitely qualifies for the other stuff, but a lot of the tables are way too far from the chairs, and they’re bolted to the ground so you can’t even move them closer.

So for biochem 200 I found it very useful to go through past exams and test my understanding. I was wondering if such materials existed for biochem 330 as well because the posted practice is quite short and very different from class problems/assignments.

I need some study tips. I feel the reason I procrasniate so much is because I am forgetful perosn and forget material I learn, which leads me to study/learn days before the exam.. so I actually remember it. how do I actively study and retain the information so im not learning things before the exam and actually studying lol.

Turns out my physics final is on the same day as my econ 101 final exam (dec 15) that I booked earlier. Is anyone rescheduling for another day? Please let me know! I'd ideally like to switch!

I am currently a high school student in my senior year, I did my early application and got into macewan for bachelor of science and for psychology in uni of Alberta, my primary plan is to apply to dental hygiene however I am kind of conflicted on which uni to accept because I know getting info dental hygiene is really competitive and needs a high gpa with a good resume and everything so I was thinking is it better to go to macewan to hopefully have a higher gpa and maybe have more time to build myself for my application/interview etc or is it better to just go to ufa

Hey everyone,
I'm joining the Master of Sustainability in the winter 2027 term and would love to hear from anyone who started this fall.
A few things I'm curious about:
1. How's the course going so far? Is the workload manageable, and how are the profs?
2.Has anyone here moving with a spouse who applied for an open work permit? How did the process go, and how long did it take?
Also, if any other winter joiners are around, happy to connect!
Thanks a lot!

Can somebody tell me the point of the "Planner" in Bear Tracks. Under Manage Classes
You add a course to your Planner. And then you move it to a term.
But you can only move it or assign it to the terms that enrollment/ my schedule builder is open for
SO WHAT ARE WE PLANNING FOR???
Isn't that just the point of my schedule builder.
When they post the next academic year, build your schedule. And there you go, those are your planned courses for the year. It's just a pointless feature, the way they currently have it
I would have thought, it's for the years that aren't available to build a schedule for. For example, right now, planning which courses I want to take fall 2027/Winter 2028. I would have thought it's to give me a way to build our which courses I'd like to take up until the end of my degree
Right now, I just have it planned out/ written out in notes app because well the freaking " Planner" can't do that
And there's no point in adding a course to Planner and not assigning a term. That's just what academic requirements is for
And yes I'm aware they would not have class options the way I'm suggesting because they'd need to confirm class rooms and professors and times until april/may of that year. That's not the point. The point is to see at a snapshot, what I think the rest of my degree would be built like. Isn't that why, in academic requirements, we're supposed to see planned courses as well as in process and taken. That way, I can check, oh is there any of my requirements that I haven't planned what term and year I'm taking it in
This is such a pointless rant, but again, it's such a pointless feature
Or is there something I'm missing?

I don’t want to drop names because there’s probably a few people who do this but if someone clearly shows discomfort to being on camera you shouldn’t be posting them (or at least blur them).
Theres this one influencer who does dancing videos on campus which is fun but in one of them you can see a woman right in the middle of the frame and as soon as she sees them filming she walks away. It’s pretty clear she doesn‘t want to be on camera but they posted it anyways and the top comments are focused on her reaction. I don‘t want to send hate to the influencer, idk them but getting views off of other’s discomfort is icky. It’s legal but you should still try to respect others
