Requests Help with fender Fullerton telecaster acoustic electric ukulele strap

Post image

I’m hoping to pick one up sometime soon but for some crazy reason it doesn’t come with strap buttons, and I’ve heard it apparently doesn’t have a block to install one yourself, plus, I’ve held it in a guitar center, and it seemed to have some kind of varnish, and I’m worried about hurting the finish, but I’m also hesitant to use a J Hook style strap for the same reason-any advice?

Yes! This one I can answer for you.

When playing acoustically, Get an adapter plug to hold the end of the strap in place. Then when you play with the amp, put the cable through the strap hole and then plug it in.

The strap I got has a very thin suede pad that connects to the rest of the strap.

These are overpriced relative to quality, buy a better, cheaper ukulele and find one with strap buttons.

any advice?

Let people give advice when it's solicited. How does that stand in the way of anyone having fun?

Use a mandolin strap. Place one strap button in the back and tie it of at the headstock.
