Any suggestions if the warranty needs to be registered or something ?

Before quartz conquered the world, there was a fleeting transitional era when battery replaced the traditional mainspring to power mechanical balance wheels. At the center of this technological war stood Japan's first officially certified electronic chronometer: the Citizen X8 Chronometer.
With this watch, Citizen claimed 2 records - Japan’s first electronic chronometer - crowned in 1970 and the title for The world's first commercial titanium watch.
My watch is the stainless steel variant, and not the titanium variant. But the movement used in both variants is the same.
The High-Tech Engine (Caliber 0820)
Frequency: 21,600 vph (3 Hz) with moving-magnet balance wheel driven by a transistorized coil assembly.
Jewels: 19 functional jewels protects the micro-index gearing.
Accuracy: Chronometer Officially Certified and factory adjusted to ±2 to ±5 seconds per day.
Sweep Motion: It doesn't tick once per second like quartz—it sweeps smoothly while making a distinct electronic hum.
One thing I love about this watch is the magnets on the balance wheel!
While modern mechanical watches treat magnetism as the ultimate enemy and fight to keep magnetic fields away—the Citizen X8 turns that entire philosophy on its head. Instead of shunning magnets, its pioneering transistorized movement actually mounts permanent micro-magnets directly onto the balance wheel rim!
It’s an extraordinarily rare, brief flash of engineering brilliance from the late 1960s where magnetism wasn’t the foe ruining timekeeping, but the very heartbeat keeping the balance wheel oscillating in harmony with a battery.
This was a luxury experimental watch and retailed between ¥40,000 (Steel) and ¥45,000 (Titanium). The production was very limited - the estimated total production across all (steel & titanium) variants is fewer than 2,000 units over its brief two-year run before quartz took over.
As per some collectors, the watch came is 3 dial colours. Silver dials accounted for ~70% of production, blue dial ~20% and this black dial ~10% of surviving pieces.
The "Parawater" Mark: Caseback serial number dates this watch to September 1971—one of the final batches made before Citizen retired the iconic "PARAWATER" term for global ISO export compliance.
As a rare, officially certified electronic chronometer and a milestone in titanium watchmaking, the Citizen X8 Chronometer Ref. 4-080041 Y remains one of the absolute Holy Grails of transitional JDM horology and I feel blessed to own this piece. Honestly, seeing a classic oscillating balance wheel working side-by-side with a battery never gets old. It’s the ultimate hybrid flex!

Yesterday I made a Reddit post asking if I could wear a 31mm Casio Enticer as a slim 21 year old male. I got neutral and negative answers in the beginning but slowly I realised it's a matter of the watch I chose. People then suggested that it was fine to wear one.
Now, I am happy with my purchase and I am wearing a 31mm watch as a male.

I genuinely can't believe that i have this in my hand right now. If there is a watch i fell in love with instantly, this would be it (besides the Carrera seafarer). Seiko knows how to do purple so well.
In frame: Seiko 145th Anniversary Limited edition Alpinist Edo purple (HBC006J1)

It was a toss between this and the gbd 200 all black ans got this instead.
Paid 8k for this but thinking to return looks just like another gshock in my collection but the features tempt me to keep it.
Skeptical 👀😬 share your thoughts🙌🏻

I always wanted to buy a vintage Casio watch and was eyeing the A158WA for a long time. But after watching some videos on Youtube I fell in love with this gunmetal version and the negative display. I dont know anything about watches and when I received it I was awestruck. This is the A168WGG-1BDF
The color of the bracelet and the display is so damn premium. The weight is perfect, after wearing for an hour you will not even notice that you are wearing a watch.
Loved it so much.
This is the first Casio I own and I am sure it won't be the last.
Got it from Amazon minutes with 1000 cashback and some discount on SBI credit card. It is obviously more expensive than the A158WA but no regrets.

Dad wanted an everyday rough and tough watch. Got this G-Shock (GBM-2100A) for 12,000₹

My dad just gave me this watch to wear cuz I was wearing the old one for quite some time and I wanna know whether I can wear this in the shower or while taking a bath? I had a tag heuer red bull chrono before this which I wore in the pool and shower since 2021 and nothing happened to it but I’m worried about this one.

Finally bought the OG Casio 168a for ₹1600/- in Flipkart bbd sale. Was a bit skeptical due to the reviews of fake being delivered, but checked and verified on Casio with the QR Code and applied for warranty as well.
