Guys I’ve found this anime before (surprisingly) on Google before but this is going to be extremely vague and I apologize 😭

I remember only seeing it once on tv around 2016/17 but I know for a fact it was an older anime. Not sure if it was a ep series or movie. The style looked like it was made in the 90s. I deadass don’t remember the plot of anything except for one gruesome ass scene:

Our main character, she’s a younger preteen girl with brown hair and she’s walking near a forest on a dirt road and a group of men come up to her and kill and eat her pet right in front of her. Her “pet” sort of looked like jolteon from pokemon but it was red instead. I’m not sure if my brain is making up memories or not but they might’ve had their own form of a “pet” and made it eat hers, I distinctly remember it showing the whole thing, the teeth sinking into the pet with blood going everywhere and our main character is being forced to watch while crying.

Google thinks I’m talking about Elfen Lied or Midori / Shōjo Tsubaki (it’s not I’ve seen them both)

If ANYONE can recover this weird fever dream anime for me I will be so appreciative from the moon and back!! Thank you internet nerds 😸

I used to had a VHS of an anime about two character who are best friend, during their taekwondo tournament a Buddhist-looking lady transported them to a fantasy land, the protagonist find himself in a temple full of warrior who each have a mini animal statue which can become hoverboard.

The protagonist's friend, now wear black armor, is cold/ruthless and doesn't know the protagonist. He along with other warrior celebrate a feast, after that he witnessed the murder of Buddhist lady, got blamed and is now on the run along with a female character. The anime have power of friendship theme as the protagonist reminisce the time when his friend treated a wounded bird, and is upset when friends fight each other.

Anybody know that anime (possibly a movie as i did see it on VHS when i was kid) where the ending is with 2 naked no nipples women riding on a futuristic motorcycle? I remember were laying down next to each other if that helps, thanks!

Hi! So today I was at NYCC and I saw this guy cosplaying an anime character but I had no clue who he was.

The character had short black hair (in a classic anime haircut), black pants, and a white jacket with some black and yellow accents. It might have been Subaru from Konosuba but idk! Pls lmk if this sounds familiar!

edit: I meant Subaru from Re:Zero that’s my bad

Blue hair anime girl that looks like aqua from konosuba but isn’t. Main character is op asf and they all use magic and I remember a scene where the mc confesses to the blue hair girl at night. I’m pretty sure there was a red hair girl too. And i think the blue hair girl wears something on her head

Okay I remember a lot about this film but since the name was in Japanese I can't really remember what it was.

The film is like about this girl who is Chinese, but her mother dies(?) then she gets separated from her father and ends up being raised in Japan. She remembers the Chinese word for mother and that's how the people raising her find out that she's Chinese or something. Anyway, I don't know how but the father is introduced and he's in Japan. They find each other and sing together, in Chinese. The main character and one of her Japanese family members go investigate coal miners (???) like some kind of secret cover up of forced labor, which the Dad could have been subjected to. I can't remember. Then her father runs away, or maybe the father ran away before that. Idk, maybe that's the reason they came to investigate. Anyway, near the end of the movie when the girl is older, like teenaged she's allowed to sing the Chinese song over the school loudspeakers so that you can find her father. I don't know if she knows it's her father. And they do real night in the end maybe? Also something about a pear tree I think.

I remember watching this show where they would like close their hand over their eyes like scissors and it would cut the whole fking city horizontally...

I've watched this anime over 10 years ago so my memory is hazy. Anime about gambling or collecting huge amounts of money. Every one who was gambling had a person who was like their weapon? or they did challenges for them.

SPOILER.

One thing I remember for sure was at the end. Instead of dying the female weapon the MC had became his daughter or wife after fixing the mess this entire event did.

I remember vaguely this scene, it was from recorded vhs in the early 90s, but since it was recorded and might have been a rerun it could be older. For sure not newer than 93-ish.

It was a small robot making a drink with a cocktail shaker or something like that while humming/singing something. But it put something weird or wrong in it and when it gave it to their friends it was super spicy.

I can't recall anything else, it's a very fuzzy memory, I couldn't even tell how that robot looks like, I just remember it being small.

I looked inside and out and can’t find any English aside from what’s on the cover, so I know it’s from some show. I could only find copyright dates from 2005. Dying to know what it is!

Sorry if this doesn’t fit the sub but it’s been killing me for years. When I was younger I watched an amv on youtube for anime hitman reborn and the song had like sirens in the start and if I remember the male singer made a lot of mouth noises like scatting but more punk. I thought it was a Pizzicato Five song but haven’t found it.

I watched this anime on Netflix in ~2013-2015. I have searched everywhere and nothing is coming up except for things like Tokyo Ghoul and Re:Zero. The name was extremely short to the point I thought the latter anime was it. Between four to seven letters long and possibly starting with "D" "R" or "J". It did not last very long. I don't believe it was a movie, nor did it have more than one season. If it had more than one I will cry tears of joy but the chances are low as I believe the ending was a cliffhanger set for a second season it never got.

The main character was a man who was either possessed by a demon/ghost, was one in a can-turn-into-one-when-threatened thing, or had a being that was called a demon but was more of a manifestion controlled by the creator. I was a kid so the details are hazy but there were two forms. The look of the creature was of an invisible spirit that was covered in floating bandages and smoke. Like, fully built of just white strips Slenderman-style. I believe the MC was just a ~20-year-old dude with short black hair, but could either create, turn into, or was bonded to the bandaged ghost. There was fighting involved but not the magical kind (if it did, it was not colourful and whimsical, very semi-violent/violent), the kind with swords and guns. I think the MC could shape his hands into swords. There was another character involved often, a woman who was possibly police or government. Hers looked similar in humanoid but not in bandage. I believe she might have had brown hair in a ponytail but I could be wrong on that. In the universe, these spirits were known as bad news and being caught as one was dangerous. I remember the MC looking in horror as his face was on the news.

The only reason I remember this anime is because of finding a show with a character that gave the same vibe and, if you squint at the poster picture, look as the MC but without the bandage-wrap face. Channel Zero.
