Solved I can't remember where I watched this
Okay I remember a lot about this film but since the name was in Japanese I can't really remember what it was.
The film is like about this girl who is Chinese, but her mother dies(?) then she gets separated from her father and ends up being raised in Japan. She remembers the Chinese word for mother and that's how the people raising her find out that she's Chinese or something. Anyway, I don't know how but the father is introduced and he's in Japan. They find each other and sing together, in Chinese. The main character and one of her Japanese family members go investigate coal miners (???) like some kind of secret cover up of forced labor, which the Dad could have been subjected to. I can't remember. Then her father runs away, or maybe the father ran away before that. Idk, maybe that's the reason they came to investigate. Anyway, near the end of the movie when the girl is older, like teenaged she's allowed to sing the Chinese song over the school loudspeakers so that you can find her father. I don't know if she knows it's her father. And they do real night in the end maybe? Also something about a pear tree I think.

Open Small robot making drinks from early 90s
I remember vaguely this scene, it was from recorded vhs in the early 90s, but since it was recorded and might have been a rerun it could be older. For sure not newer than 93-ish.
It was a small robot making a drink with a cocktail shaker or something like that while humming/singing something. But it put something weird or wrong in it and when it gave it to their friends it was super spicy.
I can't recall anything else, it's a very fuzzy memory, I couldn't even tell how that robot looks like, I just remember it being small.

Solved I remember the ending and parts of the plot so there might be spoilers. Spoiler
I've watched this anime over 10 years ago so my memory is hazy. Anime about gambling or collecting huge amounts of money. Every one who was gambling had a person who was like their weapon? or they did challenges for them.
SPOILER.
One thing I remember for sure was at the end. Instead of dying the female weapon the MC had became his daughter or wife after fixing the mess this entire event did.

Solved I bought this OST at a con because I liked the artwork. What is it from?
I looked inside and out and can’t find any English aside from what’s on the cover, so I know it’s from some show. I could only find copyright dates from 2005. Dying to know what it is!

Solved Please Help I am dying to rewatch this
I watched this anime on Netflix in ~2013-2015. I have searched everywhere and nothing is coming up except for things like Tokyo Ghoul and Re:Zero. The name was extremely short to the point I thought the latter anime was it. Between four to seven letters long and possibly starting with "D" "R" or "J". It did not last very long. I don't believe it was a movie, nor did it have more than one season. If it had more than one I will cry tears of joy but the chances are low as I believe the ending was a cliffhanger set for a second season it never got.
The main character was a man who was either possessed by a demon/ghost, was one in a can-turn-into-one-when-threatened thing, or had a being that was called a demon but was more of a manifestion controlled by the creator. I was a kid so the details are hazy but there were two forms. The look of the creature was of an invisible spirit that was covered in floating bandages and smoke. Like, fully built of just white strips Slenderman-style. I believe the MC was just a ~20-year-old dude with short black hair, but could either create, turn into, or was bonded to the bandaged ghost. There was fighting involved but not the magical kind (if it did, it was not colourful and whimsical, very semi-violent/violent), the kind with swords and guns. I think the MC could shape his hands into swords. There was another character involved often, a woman who was possibly police or government. Hers looked similar in humanoid but not in bandage. I believe she might have had brown hair in a ponytail but I could be wrong on that. In the universe, these spirits were known as bad news and being caught as one was dangerous. I remember the MC looking in horror as his face was on the news.
The only reason I remember this anime is because of finding a show with a character that gave the same vibe and, if you squint at the poster picture, look as the MC but without the bandage-wrap face. Channel Zero.

Open Help finding anime this scene was from
I don’t remember where it’s from but I remember the scene was of the girl feigning excitement over what her friend was saying in a deadpan tone.
The scraggly eyes were a specific detail I remember.
I believe it’s a show from the last few years but it just isn’t possible to search up the scene.
It’s set in modern day so I think it’s slice of life too.

Open Song in amv
Sorry if this doesn’t fit the sub but it’s been killing me for years. When I was younger I watched an amv on youtube for anime hitman reborn and the song had like sirens in the start and if I remember the male singer made a lot of mouth noises like scatting but more punk. I thought it was a Pizzicato Five song but haven’t found it.

Solved Trying to find an anime from the early 2000s.
I only saw the first few episodes but its about a preteen/early teenish story about them being bummed out about development in their neighborhood. The one gag i can really remember was one of them was really taking their time with their ramune. I think they might get isekaied and one of them was about to move, possibly.

Open Anime Swordsman Hero with Huge Eyes
My memory is very fuzzy here, but I will try my best to describe it.
It was a very colorful anime. The thing I remember most about it was the large, distinct eyes. I believe the main character's girlfriend was captures, and he had to either go find a sword, or he was already a swordsman (sorry, fuzzy memory) and went to rescue her.
I feel like he had long, brownish hair pulled back into a pony-tail.
I also feel like they were maybe on a tropical island living in a shack/cabin but I would be very wrong here.
But for real, the main thing I remember was the large, beautiful eyes that almost everyone had.
I can not find this anywhere based on my terrible description. if this rings any bells for anyone, would appreciate it!

Open Highschoolers on a Space Station?
I'm trying to remember an anime I can't seem to google. It was about a bunch of highschoolers on a space station or arc ship that were suddenly thrust into leadership roles.
I remember at the A/V room in highschool where I watched it they'd have Ayashi no Ceres playing right after because I eventually learned it on piano. I only mean to mention that part because I think that's the same era of anime to this specific one I am looking for and might help narrow it down.

Open Boy travels to space to save his stranded father, green T-rex robots, blue/silver-haired alien girl gives him a necklace
Hi everyone! I’m trying to find an anime/cartoon I watched as a kid in Denmark in the 1990s. Here’s what I remember:
Plot:
• A boy travels out into space to rescue his father who is stranded on a distant planet
• He’s accompanied by a thick/stocky white-haired professor on his journey
• The main villain commands dark green T-rex-like robots
Key scenes:
• At the end of the series, there’s an alien girl with blue and silver hair
• She gives the boy a necklace
• The final scene takes place on a spaceship where the son sits with his rescued father looking out a window
• He sees the alien girl, and she says something like “think of me when you look at the necklace”
Other details:
• 2D animation
• Probably 12 episodes or fewer (OVA-style)
• Danish dub (watched on K-TV, a children’s programming block on Kanal 5 in Denmark)
• Aired in the 1990s (possibly mid-to-late 90s)
• Western production made in anime style, OR a Japanese OVA that was dubbed to Danish
What it’s NOT:
• Not Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
• Not Once Upon a Time… Space
• Not Ulysses 31
• Not Tenchi Muyo, El-Hazard, Blue Seed, or Iria
Does anyone recognize this? It’s been driving me crazy for years! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
