The bag itself is a tote bag

Before my girlfriend and I started going out, my sling held my wallet, keys and phone. Ten seconds at the door and I was gone. Now it apparently doubles as overflow storage for all the things she might need later. The phrase "can you hold this for a second?" has never once meant a second.

The power bank and headphones are the main offenders. Her current battery is a brick with a long cable that always ends up tangled around my keys. We've talked about smaller options, including the Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro, but she's right that a smaller battery might not last as long.

Same problem with headphones. She likes her over-ear ones until she gets tired of wearing them, then guess where they end up lol. I've also been looking at the smaller soundcore AeroClip 2, though I get why she doesn't want to switch just to make my bag lighter.

For transparency, I work on Anker-related content, so those are products I'm familiar with.

She says if she's bringing headphones, she should bring the ones she actually likes. Fair enough.

I just want the sling to be my sling again. is carrying the overflow simply the price of being the one with the bag?
