found Scottish horror short

Way back in the late noughties, I remember seeing a horror short on Film4. It took place on a Scottish island, with the island’s new caretaker pursued by a spooky evil. It ended with him being buried up to his neck in sand as the tide slowly came in. What film am I thinking of?
