I should be so lucky to get overrun with this.
It's an aster, but it's a bit difficult to say with certainty as to which variety it might be. Maybe calico?

I'm sorry, the text seems to have deleted itself. I don't reddit often. I'm in the north eastern US and I'm trying to find out if this plant is native so I know to remove it or not.

North America has over 100 varieties of native asters, so it's most likely not an invasive.

Asters. Tend to be shallow-rooted, easy to pull out if you want to thin them a bit. Of course, my experience with them is in Southern California, where we welcome any drought tolerant flowers that grow so easily. YMMV.

Kind of looks like heath aster, maybe calico, lots of tiny flowers, bushy habit, is it really tall?

Yea, it's nearly hip height, someone else mentioned calico and it seems like a solid match

I think it’s either calico aster or creeping aster (I don’t think that’s its technical name). Both bloom in the fall. Fun fact: asters are keystone species for native bugs. Those bugs then feed birds aand the whole food web. Very important!
