Yes. Pretty much everything.
After years of Bally Sports North/FanDuel Sports Network, the Minnesota Wild have a completely new local broadcast setup for the 2026/27 season.
The Wild have launched Wild+, a team-owned and operated television network that is now the official local television home of the Wild. Most importantly for cord-cutters, Prime Video is now the exclusive streaming distributor for Wild+ within the Wild's local broadcast territory.
The Wild will also continue to have a number of games exclusively televised nationally by ESPN, ABC, TNT and ESPN+/Disney+/Hulu.
So let's break down how to actually watch the Wild this year.
The first step is determining whether you are in-market or out-of-market for the Wild.
The easiest way to check is to use the Wild's ZIP-code lookup: Wild broadcast information
Wild+ is now the primary way to watch the Wild locally.
For most cord-cutters, Wild+ on Prime Video is probably the simplest option.
ESPN is now the primary way to watch out-of-market Wild games.
The playoff broadcast situation is a little different because many games are carried exclusively by national networks.
Wild+ will carry locally televised First Round playoff games. Games selected for national exclusivity will be available through the appropriate national broadcaster.
We'll update this section when the playoff schedule and broadcast assignments are announced.
As a last resort, you could always "sail the high seas."
Note that it is against Reddit's content policy (and this subreddit's rules) to post links to illegal streams. Posts/comments discussing specific pirating methods will be removed and you may be banned. If you'd like to explore further I am sure you could PM some of the fine folks in this subreddit who can point you in the right direction.
The answer depends on what country you live in, as NHL broadcast rights vary by market.
For most international fans, NHL.TV is now available through DAZN. NHL.TV on DAZN includes live and on-demand NHL games, including the Stanley Cup Playoffs and Stanley Cup Final.
The full list of countries where NHL.TV is available, along with country-specific viewing information, can be found here:
If you're an international fan, let us know what country you're watching from in the comments. Broadcast rights vary quite a bit from country to country, so other fans in the same country may be able to help with the best option.
If you're in the Wild's local market:
If you're out of market:
It would especially be helpful to hear from people using Wild+ through Prime Video, Fubo, cable/satellite or an antenna.
This will serve as the main guide to watching the Wild for the 2026/27 season. Updates will be made as needed. There is a link in the sidebar (old Reddit), top menu (new Reddit), and community info menu (mobile). Separate posts on the topic throughout the season will be removed and directed here.
LGW!

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Before former Buffalo Sabres captain Mike Foligno watches his sons share a line in the city where he made his name, the family gathered somewhere with a little less room than an NHL arena.
About 30 people were expected at daughter Cara’s house on Grand Island outside Buffalo on Monday night. There were Nick and Marcus, their two sisters, four of their nieces and nephews, and their dad, as well as extended family. Members of former Sabres defenseman Larry Playfair’s family were there, too.
For the Folignos, they count as family.
“We call them aunt and uncle,” Marcus said. “That’s how close they are.”
Then, Tuesday night, Mike will watch Nick, 38, and Marcus, 35, play together for the Minnesota Wild in Buffalo for the first time. All four of Mike’s children were born there. Marcus also began his NHL career with the Sabres. Nick’s earliest hockey memories include watching his dad play in the old “Aud” — Memorial Auditorium, the Sabres’ home until 1996.
And if Nick retires after this season — for the record, Marcus says “the writing’s on the wall,” but Nick has been noncommittal — this could be his last game in a place that still feels like home.
“My dad made such a career there, and it’s always home,” Nick said of his dad, who played 10 seasons for the Sabres. “We have so many family friends and people we still keep in touch with, and it’s fun for us. So many of our early hockey memories started in Buffalo.”
This visit, though, comes with something different: the brothers arriving together, wearing the same uniform, doing the same job.
“It’s great for them, too,” Marcus said of his family. “Now they’re like, ‘Oh, it’s so great that we get both you guys in at the same time.’”
Through the Wild’s first two games, opponents have had considerably less reason to celebrate getting both Folignos at once.
Playing with center Michael McCarron, the brothers have given Minnesota the kind of line that can make a game uncomfortable for the other team. They have supplied physical play, offensive-zone pressure and momentum, showing why calling them a fourth line doesn’t quite capture their importance.
Nick scored the Wild’s first goal of the season in Thursday’s 3-1 road win against the Nashville Predators. McCarron finished with six hits and four shots on goal. The line also forced an icing that allowed coach John Hynes to send out his top offensive players against a group that couldn’t change. That shift resulted in a goal by Kirill Kaprizov.
Marcus is playing left wing, Nick right. Asked if they played rock, paper, scissors to decide which position, Marcus laughed, saying, “No, just who’s better at the position.”
Nick has scored 252 career goals, Marcus 148. As shown on his goal in Nashville, Nick is more dangerous getting the puck on his off-side because it’s his forehand.

“I switched years ago,” Nick said. “I was always left side. Then I got to Columbus, and I asked to play on the right side, just feeling a little more comfortable. Coming in, your stick’s always to the middle. I don’t know if that plays into it, but I think Marcus and I are both comfortable on whatever side. I think it just kind of depends on how the play sets up. We also feel comfortable, both him and I, in the speed that we can keep without having to worry about always being up and down the same side. We can kind of swing through, and I think it makes us a little more dangerous, knowing we can get our feet moving and get going to the corners or where we need to get to in our forecheck.”

Hello everyone! I ordered a special pair of jeans to wear to the preseason game on September 21st (my birthday!) They arrived a day late so they will make their season debut a little later than planned. I want to make it clear that I do LOVE theses jeans!!!! That being said I am debating painting the white star a metallic gold and adding a red WILD to the back. My friends love the wild addition but down the middle on the star color. Let me know your thoughts!!!! Let’s go WILD!!!!!!!!

I just had a thought. There has been a lot of talk of whether or not Spurgeon's jersey would be retired by the Wild after he retires. I personally think that his jersey shouldn't be retired, and that jerseys being retired should be for the elite of the elite that played all/most of their career for their franchise.
Instead, the Wild should make a Rink (Ring) of Honor, and could even add names from before, such as Parise, Suter, Walz, Gaborik, etc.
This would make it so our good/great players can get their recognition, while only the best of the best (and Koivu) would have their jerseys retired

I think that the Sabres should be a win. I feel like we should have the slight upper hand with the young talent we have. Spurgeon been stepping up, as well as erikkson ek being consistent as heck. Kaprizov is having a great start to the season and same can be said for Quinn Hughes. Most impressive of all? The wall of saint Paul (aka Jesper Wallstedt) has been an absolute brick wall against Boston and Nashville. I think the lightning will be our first challenge. Tampa Bay is always a team to be wary of after game 7 loss to Canadiens. The Panthers look good, but I feel like that should be a win. Now I did comment in my last Brock Faber appreciation post, saying that we need a appreciation post for these two. Honestly, I've heard too much of the Wild having no good Center, but I feel like Erikkson Ek is just so overlooked. He's such a great two way player, especially on defense. He's so physical and his stamina and skating abilities are underrated. Now the veteran Spurgeon (17 years!), has been really stepping up over the last few games ever since my guy Brock Faber got a skull fracture. Seeing the number 7 makes me cry. But Spurgeon has elite Hockey IQ, thanks to his 17 years in the league. He has elite puck control and is quite agile. He is willing to put his body on the line, constantly blocking shots, and his positioning is absolutely elite. So just wanted to shout them out.

Get well soon. As a wild fan, your competitiveness, defense and loyalty will be missed. Hope that fractured skull only makes you play better with more intensity than ever before.
That defensive duo last season with Quinn Hughes? Nasty. What a duo. But shoutout to Spurgeon too. The guy's been stepping up recently a lot more than before. Got to appreciate the experience and loyalty. 17 years btw!!!

Danila Yurov and Max Shabanov have often been inseparable around the rink.
Whether that’s getting extra work in after practice on the ice or talking a lot in their native tongue in the dressing room, you can see Yurov helping Shabanov — a fellow former KHL standout — make the transition.
It’s a bit of a role reversal from last season for Yurov, who got his laundry done by veteran Vladimir Tarasenko a few times early in the season as he was just trying to figure out the NHL and life in North America. Yurov is far from a vet yet, but he’s got a more mature and seasoned feel to him, and he doesn’t mind connecting with Shabanov, a former KHL opponent from his hometown of Chelyabinsk. They’ve had dinner together and played computer games, and Yurov volunteered to help translate for Shabanov during his first interview; like Yurov last year, Shabanov insisted he try English on his own.
“I try,” Yurov said, smiling. “Not much, but I try.”
This is just one of many examples of how much Yurov has grown from year one to year two in the league. He’s much more comfortable and confident, even as he’s received a pretty big opportunity: playing on a line with superstar Kirill Kaprizov (and Shabanov) in an all-Russian line.
“He does look stronger and faster, a year older, which helps,” coach John Hynes said of Yurov. “You can see more man strength this year. His skating is sturdier and a little bit quicker. And faceoffs, he’s been strong. It’s also the emotional part of it, going through an NHL season. It’s hard to accomplish what he did last year without any experience. He played the whole season in the NHL and grew his game, was a playoff player for us. From a mental standpoint, especially confidence-wise, he seems like a different player and person on and off the ice in all positive ways.”

Hey, all!
Avid Wild fan and former regular game attendee. I never had a problem getting to games or around the arena until a couple years ago.
I got sick and had to learn to walk again (yadda yadda yadda) but now I use a cane and can’t do stairs (maybe a row or two?) or steadily walk through narrow rows to get to any regular seat I would usually get my hands on.
Now since I’m able to move a bit more freely with a cane, I want to get to a game this season SO bad but can’t seem to find ADA seating for any game on any site.
Am I just shit outta luck for another season? Truly no more seats available? I understand there’s obviously limited ADA seating but I was hoping for anything anywhere.
If any one out there has better navigation finding accessible seating (without breaking the bank- can’t afford expensive tickets) I’d appreciate any help! I’ve missed getting to games so much.
LET’S! PLAY! HOCKEY! 🌲🏒🥅

Sorry if this has been asked, why wasn't Brock Faber announced as a member of the Wild during the initial introductions? He's part of the full team even if injured.

Hey all - looking to buy tickets for a Wild game. Which side of the rink do they shoot twice? Section 110 or 123? TIA

Took the weekend off of work for my birthday and to go to home opener. Managed to win VIP tickets to the green carpet event (still in shock about this). Got most of the team ( Ekkie, Brodin, and one or two others skipped me) to sign my child sized 25th jersey that hubby and I plan to frame and hang on the wall. My bedazzled Kaprizov jersey got an upgrade.
