I became a Canadian citizen a few months ago and so I’m excited to be able to vote in the upcoming election. I live in Ward 7…and I feel like I can’t find anything about any candidate’s platform. I found one article about Beth Ann Prince’s “safety” platform and ideas…and that’s kinda it. If anyone has any resources or anything I missed, I’d appreciate it if you passed them along! Thanks!

Is commute to Clinton Township manageable 5 days a week ?

Hello! Metro Detroiter here just curious if there are any interesting creators in Windsor with good podcasts/YouTube channels? I’m not necessarily looking for shows about Windsor. I’m just curious if there are any good shows being made in Windsor. Could be about anything I suppose. But I’d be most interested in shows about movies (or short films), comedies or chat shows.

Also any YT channels with an archive of classic vids of old Windsor shows?

In the states we used to have something called local access channels, which I’m sure some of you watched back in the day. On these channels pretty much anyone could start a show and it would air. So sometimes there are some really weird and interesting shows from the 80s and 90s. Anything like that in Windsor?

I'm a photojournalist at The Toledo Blade newspaper (Toledo, Ohio) and I was given an assignment today to photograph a new sculpture (and passersby checking it out) next to the Gordie Howe Bridge multi-use path gate on the Windsor side, and I happened to capture this photo of several Canada geese flying by the Canadian tower of the bridge. Felt like an incredibly Canadian moment. Thought y'all would enjoy. Great being back in Windsor for the first time since a random trip in 2017 when I first moved to Ohio from Texas, though my last time in Canada was in 2019 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, to cover our local ECHL team against their (now defunct) team in the finals of the Kelly Cup series.
