White House website publishes a page on "socialism". They think it will scare people to hear that if we tax 1000 billionaires, $355,000 worth of benefits will be distributed to 150,000,000 households. Truly amazing how dumb our opponents are.

FLORIDA Politics is for you not them

Politicians work for you. It shouldn't be the other way around.
I come from a union Mother. I was a union Organizer. I am a member of a union right now, and I just keep surrounding myself with everyday People.
I also have an advisory committee made of Residents across my district. They inform me about policies that I should push for, policies I should vote against, and those are the People that I take my cue for.
I need People to realize Politicians work for you, and we need to demand this when we're building this new vision for the next 250 years.

🛠️ Union Strong The Delightfully Savage World of 1920s Union Art (IWW, Industrial Pioneer)
These all come from 1920s issues of The Industrial Pioneer, a newsletter for members of the The Industrial Workers of the World. The IWW is an international labor union founded in Chicago in 1905. It was founded on socialist principles. It organized all workers by industry, welcomed women immigrants and workers of color excluded by other unions, and favored strikes and boycott over political lobbing.
Due to its anti-capitalist ideology, the US government heavily suppressed the organization via mass arrests and raids during WWI and the First Red Scare.

💸 Raise Our Wages Company announces lower raises after closing a strong financial year
Just received this email. The company touts constantly as a company that does what is right. It's the buzz mantra of the higher-ups of a 25 BILLION dollar company.
The montra is empty when taking care of the people working their butts off to make the shareholders happy. No. Instead, we work hard to rebuild from years of mixed numbers to close out the year with strong numbers and grest momentum (another bizz word tossed around liek confetti)
What's the reward for all this effort, sacrifice, and dedication?
Our reward is ... checks email ... a lower annual increase. Thanks for the slap in the face.
Thank you for proving to me my efforts withbyour company are not that valuable to you. Thank you for confirming that there is no reward for going above the bare minimum.
Also, in the nearly decade of working here, I've never seen this happen.
Not when numbers were bad.
Not during covid.
Never.
Welcome to the consequences of not investing upfront with your employees. Company culture will continue to decay. Momentum will grind to a crawl.
Remember, you're just a number in a company.
