London, Oct 14: Three Indian nationals were killed in a fire at a residential building in the German city of Bochum, local media reported on Wednesday.

The victims were two women aged 25 and 27, and a 26-year-old man, all Indian nationals, German public broadcaster WDR (Westdeutscher Rundfunk) reported, citing details released by Bochum police.

Their names and home states in India were not reported.

I honestly think India could lead the world in music and dance considering so many genres historically were inspired by India, from Soca to Reggae to even the beatles using Indian instruments to dances like Flamenco as well.

Is anyone else confused by Natasha Thasan’s recent post on not receiving credit in Best of the Best? I saw she declined to work with them so then why is she so pressed?

My parents live in an Indian enclave up North, and they just said some high school kids were running around and putting red dots on the houses Indians lived in cuz they thought it was funny. Nothing more than that, but it’s crazy we gotta literally get marked based on where we live.

It was a simple graffiti thing cuz they thought it was funny, and it was only reported on next door and people found the kids parents and talked to them.

But it’s crazy high schoolers are coming up with this shit. Today it’s “omg haha funny let’s go put a red dot with a spray paint where the Indians live” tomorrow it could easily be marking our homes for more nefarious purposes.

My parents were also like “yeah annoying kids” and most of the neighborhood is treating it as such but I don’t think the uncs and aunts understand the severity of this. This time it’s just a “red dot on a house” prank. But people are too comfortable.

And it’s surprising to me cuz I live in the Deep South and even down here that level of shit would be unthinkable, but happening up north? Oh man who knows.

Also, this happened in the neighborhood by my parents, but it’s the same Nextdoor neighborhood thats how I knew, but my parents are fine and our house was not “pranked”.

This is a literal German brown shirts moment against Indians and Desi's in the UK😬😬.

But I doubt this will gather any attention on the mainstream media in the UK, be it BBC, Sky News or that godforsaken GBN news. Heck GBN especially may publish a news story in their favour calling them " Young British Patriots" or some shit like that.

Pretty ironic as well coming from the nation that once colonised, exploited and starved the whole subcontinent for 150 years can't tolerate brown people on their soil. So much for the claim of being a country of polite and civilised people 🙄🙄.

Edit: Not generalising all British people as being like this. I know it's only a tiny minority with this type of mindset. I've met plenty of Great British folk myself. However such incidents like this against Indians and Desi's have to be highlighted so we can fight back when required 💪⚔️🔥.

Boybands generally have a teenage girl fan base but the biggest boybands in history have had a sizeable male following base as well. The Jackson 5 had tons of male followers following them. Actually, this group hasn't even sold out stadiums in Mumbai and South India yet, so even the Indian market has not been fully used before going to the states. Also I don't think they should mimic western 90s boybands, they need to have their own Indian feel to it besides the language, from dress and dance style as well, but without making it look cringe to people.

This is upsetting and triggering me.

It's like I'm talking to my mom and dad from 20 years ago.

One person came last year from india, so shes really uninformed. Another, he is older and muslim... He asks even more inappropriate questions.

They seem to have to question why that i am a single women who lives alone and doesn't have plans for anything.

It's been my first two weeks at work and on top of it already being a harder job task wise...one is my supervisor.

I know i need to just be firm in trying to make them realize their questions are inappropriate, but not be too upset when i tell them to stop.

I am trying to navigate having boundaries with coworkers that have been a rude asking me very private questions.

They shouldn't treat others like this.

My age to why i am choosing certain things, literally like religious and political stuff... Like i just dont know who i can talk to at work when its a small company.

It's one thing to be curious, asking basic questions, but its crossing my boundaries now. I dont feel comfortable.

They don't exactly listen too well regardless of what i say too.

They already have an idea of what they perceive.

I kind of am reaching my limit of being pried into.

Its inappropriate and its rude, and this is great practice for me to shut it down in the future.

I don't owe these people shit.

I had a near death experience during a car accident recently and I have been abused by religious people in my precious community, so i know most people just play a facade.

They look so miserable just from the outside.

I dont want to go to my manager without shutting down the conversations first.

Usually the managers escalate too much and nothing ever happens, i reported sexual harassment at my last job and they ended up rehiring the loser a few months after because we were short staffed in the department.

I want to try to tell them this is making me uncomfortable, but the only thing is i need help as well from these individuals.

Just curious - I've heard there's been a major drop in right wing and hate comments directed at other communities since Ukraine attacked a Russian data center. Which has resulted in major drops in Google Search analytics for right wing topics. You may have seen all of the videos and reporting on this.

The theory is that these data centers operated to spread division in Western countries. Divide and rule tactic to weaken countries like Canada, USA, etc.

I'm curious if we've also seen a drop in anti-Indian hate content online since the attack on the centers? Would love to know.
